Great romantic getaway in San Blas - I booked a tour with the San Blas wild through viator and the viator rep mislead me stating the tour will be done by 4pm to arrive in Panama City. San Blas wild quickly reached out via WhatsApp and explained we will end in San Blas at 4pm but not arrive in Panama until 6-7 thus I would not make my 6:30 flight. They cancelled the tour for me through viator given me a full refund. Seeing that I was disappointed they offered me a solution, a private tour for a little more but ensuring I would get done by 2pm to arrive in Panama by 4 pm to catch flight. San Blas wild your director advised me my now private driver and his info.. shortly after My driver Jake texted me the afternoon before letting me know his name car and color of the car he would be driving plus a pick up drop off from my own origination. Jake arrived on time and let us know this was now a private tour and the 4x4 was for me and my wife only! After a few hour drive we arrived to great another private canoe.. tour operator was super friendly and took us to the Guna villages to explain heritage.. after, we arrived in dog island to stay for 3 hours (along the way our private guide explained why there were 49 islands and what dog island represents) after the 3 hour stay we headed over to nature pool for 45 mins (guide explained that this was once a island but went under water) then we arrived at nabu (I believe that’s the name) island for lunch (food was great, guide even gave us extra chicken as we though we would get octopus and chicken but it was one or the other) and another unique beach experience where we seen that you can fly in and stay at this particular island like a resort after we left to head back to San Blas we’re Jake was there on time waiting for us to take us directly back to our origination port. 10 out of 10 recommend private tour !
