Natural Wonder - Melis is a very responsible and experienced tour guide. She has taken us to Pamukkale for a splendid trip that we won't forget. It is just like Mammoth Hot Spring in Yellowstone. But we can step into the warm thermal water at Pamukkale but not at Yellowstone.

Fantastic Time at Pamukkale (Small Group Tour) from Kusadasi Port/Hotels - We reserved a private tour for 13 cruise ship passengers. The ship arrived at 7 AM and the All Aboard was 6:30 PM. We were very concerned about the amount of time we needed to get to the site, enjoy all the various elements, and return to the ship on time. We were advised that as a private tour this was possible. And, thanks to our tour guide, Eren Tozlu, our time was managed to perfection. We left cruise ship terminal at 7:20 AM and returned at 6 PM. Eren listened to us, he managed our time perfectly ensuring we saw the primary attractions, knew our way around, knew where the bathrooms were, and knew what our options were so we could manage our free time. He took us up to the stadium, best amphitheater stage we've ever seen, he took us to the Gates of Hell and Back (that's the Plutonium) and showed us the swimming pools and the terraced pools of Cleopatra. Next we had a lovely lunch. Then we made our way back to the ship arriving at 6 PM. Definitely recommend this experience. Note: It takes about 3 hours to get to Pamukkale from Kusadasi Cruise Terminal.

Pamukkale- small group tour with Melis! - We got the tour arranged by our hotel and received effortless transfers to and from pamukkale. Melis was our guide and she greeted us so warmly. She explained a lot about not just pamukkale but Turkiye in general! We were a small group and we enjoyed our day together. Would definitely recommend booking a tour with Melis as your guide!

Melis Manav was awesome - The trip was well arranged , we got a guide named Melis , she was awesome. If you can book her do so , I also highly suggest you book this tour directly if able , instead of through a tour operator or other 3rd party. You will support the local businesses in Turkey and the people there.

Understandable and interesting excursion - We thank you for the good and understandable explanation of our guide (German speaking, which is nowadays only very rare sown). It was all explained historically and also presently and we felt well taken care of during the trip.

Ruins are great but the travertine terrace pools a let down - The ruins were amazing and we had ample time to wander at our own pace to see what we wanted and take photographs.

More time needed on location - 3 hours to get to the site which your warned off after a stop of at a factory/shop for a few expensive pieces of carved stone!!!! Ok look good and are very detailed but I’d rather have time on trip location Anyway we arrived at Pamukkale with a short tour with the guide then we had 3 hours only free time to see the ruined city of Hirapolis, a swim in Cleopatra pool if wanted a wander around the museum and the walk on the unique terraces that is Pamukkales natural wonder! I didn’t get chance to do all as the area is vast so lost out on a swim in the pool as wanted to explore the archaeological site visit the museum and experience the terraces! 3 hours is not enough felt rushed and I definitely needed the pool in 35 degree heat but no choice of wanted to get back to Kuşadası! Guide and transportation was great eventually for back to Kuşadası in 4 hours from departure Long day as listed in listings so expect it!!!!!
