• Keslik Monastery - Keslik Monastery is an extensive cave monastery complex featuring two churches, a large refectory hall, a sacred spring, and numerous cave rooms. Set in a picturesque garden, it is the largest monastery in Cappadocia. This site has been utilized and developed in various ways over 2,000 years. It was a gravesite in pre-Christian Roman times, a large communal monastery during the Byzantine era, and is now a tourist attraction in modern Turkey.
• Kaymakli Underground City - Kaymakli, one of Cappadocia’s major underground cities, consists of 8 floors. However, as with many underground cities, not all floors are open to tourists. The first floor is designated for animals to exit easily. Corridors connect the churches and other living spaces, separated from the stables. Kaymakli Underground City, with its fascinating sections such as warehouses, kitchens, cemeteries, a mughouse, and a copper processing workshop, still contains hidden underground tunnels that have not been fully explored.
• Avanos Oren Yeri - Today’s lunch will be at a local restaurant in Avanos, where you can try “Testi Kebab,” a traditional kebab from the Cappadocia region of Turkey. (Vegetarian meals are also available at the same restaurant.) Avanos is a popular destination due to its charming old town with cobbled streets and views over the river. The ancient city of Avanos, known as Venessa in ancient times, overlooks Turkey’s longest river, the Kizilirmak (Red River), which separates Avanos from the rest of Cappadocia. Avanos is renowned for its earthenware pottery production, which remains a significant economic activity. The ceramic trade in this area and its numerous pottery factories date back to the Hittites, utilizing ceramic clay from the red silt of the Kizilirmak.
• Goreme Open-Air Museum - This site includes a monastery with rock-cut churches, kitchens, wineries, storages, and living rooms left by Anatolian Christians. Goreme Open Air Museum is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
• Pigeon Valley - Located in Uchisar town, it offers one of the best panoramic views of the region. The site also features numerous pigeon houses built by the region’s ancient inhabitants. If desired, you can visit the popular onyx stone factory in the area.

• Istanbul - These drop-off & return transfer services are available for guests who have chosen the “from-to Hotels in Istanbul” option: At the end of the tour, we will transfer you back to Cappadocia airport for your flight to Istanbul. Upon arrival in Istanbul, we will meet you at the airport and take you to your hotel in Istanbul. The return flight departs between 8:00 pm and 9:00 pm, meaning your flight will land in Istanbul approximately between 9:30 pm and 10:45 pm. * This timing is ideal for catching your return flight to Istanbul after your full-day Cappadocia tour today.
