• Cuevas del Drach - The Drach Caves are the best known caves in Mallorca and were mentioned in the novel Clovis Dardentor by Jules Verne. Their impressive spectacle of light and colour, together with stalagmites, stalactites and natural aquifers, make the visit an unforgettable experience.

Located in Porto Cristo, these four caves were formed between 11 and 5.3 million years ago. Their subterranean landscape, shaped by the filtration of rainwater through limestone rocks, looks like something out of a science fiction film.

The first written references date back to the 14th century, and in 1784 Cardinal Despuig included them in his map of Mallorca. In the 19th century, an enormous underground lake 170 metres long was discovered. Since 1935, a magical classical music concert has been held in this lake.
