A paved road, downhill bicycle tour through a Federally protected Wilderness zone along the San Andreas Fault. Riders will be treated to magnificent vistas of the wide open Colorado Desert, enter a tortured badlands canyon, then finish off with views of the Santa Rosa Mountains and ride through the agricultural fields of the Eastern Coachella Valley….

Fantastic! - What a beautiful way to learn about plate techtonics and see the beauty of our earth. Jeff was such a knowledgeable and kind guide -- he took terrific care of us! We had a beautiful time!!

Easy and fun bike ride through some amazing geology - We drove ~45 minutes from Palm Desert to the starting point, hopped on our bikes, and enjoyed an easy 15 mile cruise through an other-wordly landscape. Captain Ron, tour guide extraordinaire, gave us lots of info during the drive and on occasional stops in the canyon. The Coachella Valley is a truly unique place -- between this, Joshua Tree, and Indian Canyon, we feel like we visited three different planets in a week!

Ben at Big Wheel for the win! - Ben was so knowledgeable, friendly and engaging. He was passionate about explaining everything about the fault zones, topography and plant & animal life. Easy downhill ride that gets prettier as the ride progresses.

Wonderful Tour! - My trip with Guide Ron was exemplary! He was so positive, informative and supportive throughout the tour. He took the time, during our transit to the bike trail and back to pickup site, to provide wonderful information regarding the topography of the areas in question. I felt I was conversing with a knowledgeable scientist- but his additional “practical “ advice and commentary was much appreciated. I welcomed the opportunity to bike in this area and also hike a bit too and would highly recommend to others.

Glad We Did It…!!! - The bike tour was the perfect combination of fresh air, stunning scenery, exercise, and a comprehensive flora-fauna-geology and history lecture from our capable guide Ben. Appreciated the air conditioned shuttle, bikes, and water/goodies… Definitely a must-do for first timers to the area.

Canyon cruise So Cal! - This was a great downhill cruise. Bikes were comfortable & in good repair. Our guide Ben was very knowledgeable, friendly & accommodating. The canyon was intriguing with so much natural beauty. Also enjoyed seeing agricultural aspect of the valley. Great way to spend a morning in So Cal! Highly recommend Ben and this tour!
