A unique experience - Taking a cooking class with Chef Antonio at Domus Kitchen was an absolute highlight of my trip. From the moment we stepped into his home, both he and his wife welcomed us with such warmth and generosity that we immediately felt like part of their family. Antonio’s passion for traditional Sicilian cuisine shines through in everything he does. He not only shares his knowledge and techniques but also his heart, weaving in stories about Sicilian culture while showing genuine interest in our own lives. His teaching style is relaxed, fun, and deeply engaging, making the entire experience feel more like cooking with a dear friend than taking a class. Together, we prepared an incredible menu: carpaccio di vitello, carpaccio di gamberi, bruschetta, spaghetti with gamberi and pistacchio pesto, involtini di vitello, and a pistacchio semifreddo. Each dish was a celebration of fresh, authentic flavors, and Antonio made sure we understood not just the recipes but the spirit behind them. This was so much more than a cooking class. It was a cultural immersion and a true memory to treasure. If you want to experience Sicilian hospitality at its finest, learn from a passionate chef, and enjoy one of the most delicious meals of your life, I can’t recommend Chef Antonio’s Domus Kitchen enough.

An incredible cooking experience in Sicily!!! - We had such a wonderful experience with Chef Antonio and his family. He has such an amazing personality and his passion and love for ingredients and cooking really shows! Everything we made tasted delicious and Antonio’s back yard where we cooked was so beautiful and welcoming. We learned so much about how the ingredients we used are sourced and cooking techniques. I can’t say enough good things about this experience if you are planning a trip to Sicily and want to take a cooking class you need to book here! I hope we get to meet again Antonio!

Warm and Welcoming. Informative and Delicious. - The first evening of our Tour of Sicily included a cooking class hosted by the Domus Kitchen. Chef Antonio planned a delicious meal for our group that included members with allergies and lactose intolerance as well as vegetarians. Each dish was a treat! Using fresh produce and seafood as well as local specialties we feasted on pistachio pasta, Sicilian rolls made with both meat and swordfish, bruschetta, and a pistachio dessert. We learned tips like the importance of the Sicilian drop when cooking with olive oil and identifying authentic swordfish. He and his family are warm and welcoming. All of us agreed the meal was fully delicious. And with the dietary restrictions we were a tough bunch to accommodate! Highly recommend!

Palermo Comes To Phoenix - If you ever want to experience an evening of authentic Sicilian cooking, culture and entertainment, you have found the right experience. Chef Antonio and his crew came to our house and led a group of 16 of our friends through a hands-on cooking session, complete with his inimitable humor and knowledge of Italian cuisine. Then we got to enjoy the amazing fruits of our labors (and considerable skills of Antonio's staff) while he answered questions and delighted us with stories from Palermo. It was incredibly simple for us to host; they brought everything they needed with them (cookware, utensils, fresh food...) and even dressed in matching caps and aprons. The food was exceptional! Our meal started with bruschetta, followed by carbonara, meatballs, bread and pistachio ice cream for dessert. We first met Antonio when we took a cooking class on a trip to Sicily in 2022. The class was at his house, in the backyard kitchen with 8 other people we didn't know. The experience was phenomenal! It was entirely hands-on and we cooked and laughed through the evening. Antonio mentioned he travels to Arizona (where we live) to teach classes and he had a trip coming up. We kept in touch and hosted a class during his visit. That experience was so great that our friends wanted to do it again. We have now hosted twice and there will undoubtedly be a third and fourth...
