Mauro was a great tour guide - Made Palermo super interesting - We had a spectacular tour guide Mauro who showed us around the city of Palermo. He made all the sites interesting for my husband and I and also my teenager was super engaged. We saw so many sites in the time we went on the tour. It exceeded all of our expectations. He went above and beyond to explain the layout of the city. Most of what he showed us we NEVER would have seen on our own because we couldn’t have fit that much in or just would not have known how great some of the sites were to see. The tour was the highlight of our Palermo trip. Thankfully we chose this tour and got Mauro for our guide. I would absolutely recommend him if your looking for a Palermo guide.

Great tour - This was an amazing tour. Mauro was so informative and knowledgeable - he showed us all the city highlights and some off the beaten path sites as well. The City Archives was an amazing building and so interesting. Great tour not to be missed

A Very Special Tour! - Mauro provided an extremely special experience and tour of Palermo. He was a wonderful guide and storyteller, showing us many of Palermo's wonders we otherwise would miss. His excellent English, knowledge of history, and joyful spirit made the morning a rare treat!

Wow! What an awesome tour! - What an amazing tour! From fish markets to produce markets to beautiful churches, Mauro was an exceptional guide. He was very knowledgeable and definitely knows Palermo. He was super personable and made sure we hit all the sites that we needed to see. He loves his city and makes sure that you will too by the end of the tour. Although, you could walk around yourself, you will miss some very private places that he knows about. It's definitely worthwhile to have Mauro take you around to appreciate Palermo all the more. 10 stars!!!

Great experience and worth the cost! - Mauro was an amazing tour guide. I wasn’t sure if we needed to do a private walking tour, but I’m so glad we did, it was so much more low key than the large groups we saw all over the city. He knew so much about each place we went, and really seemed to love his city. He took us to visit some lesser known places, which were very unexpected and interesting. I highly recommend doing a private tour with him.

Wonderful afternoon in beautiful Palermo - We were 2 couples and booked a private tour with Mauro. He made us a lunch reservation at a restaurant in the historic capo market prior to our tour and it was a very enjoyable sicilian lunch. Mauro is a very easy going and fun guide. He is very knowledgeable, he showed us places we would not have found on our own which for me is one of the reasons to do private tours, but you do not always get this! The information provided was also very interesting. He furthermore provided great recommendations for our remaining time in Palermo. I will definitely recommend Palermo Wonders to family & friends!

A totally wonderful experience due to a totally professional and informative guide. - The private Palermo tour with Mauro was fantastic. Palermo Wonders fabulous guided tour - Mauro was a brilliant guide. The tour around Palermo was very informative and interesting about the local history as well as what went on behind the scenes. His explanation of all the sculptures at the Oratorio di San Lorenzo was fascinating and amusing. We went back there again the next day as well as other places he suggested, including lovely restaurants and Capo market. Our time with him allowed us to make the most of the 2 days we have had in Palermo. We whole heartedly recommend Palermo Wonders for guided tours.
