An interesting and informative tour. - We learned so much about how the mafia works in Sicily and, particularly, in Palermo. The guide covered the history and the impact on Sicilian life. He was very knowledgeable and easy to listen to. We saw parts of Palermo that we would never have found on our own.

Franchesco was a great... - Franchesco was a great tour guide and very knowledgeable. Showed a lot of passion for getting the mafia out of Sicily. There aren’t a lot of sights but the information was amazing.

Fantastic historical tour. - It was fantastic! My tour guide was so knowledgeable and passionate about the history of Palermo and Sicily, it was my first full day in Palermo so it was a good way of seeing all the historical sites, I’m not normally into this sort of touristy things but I thoroughly enjoyed myself.

Absolutely stunning and lots of gratitude and respect to Linda, our guide! - I read in one of the reviews that if it was to be the only tour you do in Palermo you should do just this one and I agree 100%. Actually, I`m not a fan of organized tours, I prefer getting to know places on my own. But I registered onto this tour because I`m particularly interested in the anti-mafia movement that organizes it, AggioPizzo. That was absolutely amazing time! Our guide, Linda, had spectacular knowledge, spoke perfect English (which is not obvious on walking tours in different cities) and she was really involved in telling anecdotes, interesting facts, showing us another side of the story and so on... The time was perfect and I 200% recommend it to anyone! (It`s not that much walking itself, you don`t have to be fit to do this tour, it`s rather about listening to vivid stories and living the life of the city)

Informative - The no mafia tour was very informative and provided a great historical context for the mafia movement in Sicily. Our tour guide was from one of the well known mafia cities and helped explain how they continued to control the island beyond what many people believe from movies/tv. Proceeds from the tour go to supporting businesses and communities to ensure they can succeed without the help of the mafia.

It's worth it - Nice experience. Our guide, Francesco, was nice and prepared. We enjoyed what was told and the tour to the center of Palermo. From our point of view, however, we would have appreciated a little more the visit of some places where significant events of the fight against the mafia took place and perhaps a tour a little less "spoken" and more "walked". We were with boys of 9-14 aa, I did not find it very suitable for their age.

For an English speaker... - For an English speaker the language barrier was intense. We could not understand what was said. Also we Wish they would have ended the tour at the No Mafia museum, sadly when we returned it was Closed. So we completely missed the opportunity to learn more.
