Highly recommended. Such fun! - We very much enjoyed our Italian cooking experience with Marco, who was the most delightful gentleman, full of fun and humor. He was incredibly attentive, patient and understanding, catering to everyone's cooking levels. We made some amazing food, learnt some great cookery skills, Sicilian cooking techniques and we met some lovely people! All in all, the day was a great experience.

Love his energy! - The market tour with Marco was so fun. His relationship with the vendors was beautiful to see. His flat is so charming and his cooking area was clean, organized and was amazing. We had a small group that day and it was perfect. We had amazing pasta, caponata and cannolis. We laughed so much and had an absolute blast with him!

Wonderful experience - Our family had the great pleasure of attending the cooking class at Casa di Cilla in Sicily. It was an extraordinary experience that brought us closer to the culinary traditions of Sicily. The dishes we prepared together were not only delicious, but also a wonderful opportunity to discover the quality, fresh ingredients of the region. Marco showed us how to conjure authentic Sicilian food with simple means and great attention to detail. We can highly recommend this course to anyone interested in cuisine and culture. Many thanks to Marco who welcomed us into his home.

Bravissimo! - We stopped in Palermo, Sicily, as a part of our summer cruise vacation and knew immediately we needed to look for a cooking experience. Marco absolutely exceeded all of our expectations for this tour, making it one of the absolute highlights of our vacation! We were lucky enough to have Marco all to ourselves! We toured the market, trying all sorts of fresh fruits, authentic Italian treats and picking out fresh ingredients for our meal. Our children - age 7 and 10 - were delighted to be included as chefs for the day. Marco convinced our super picky daughter to try new things (eggplant!) and helped us to make the tastiest stuffed calamari, eggplant rolls and simple but DIVINE pasta sauce! We enjoyed our time and meal spent with Marco! We would go back and do it all again without hesitation! We love the Marco experience!

5 star experience! - We loved our experience cooking with Marco! He is an amazing chef and was great at getting everyone involved in a task including my 14yo son who normally won’t help me in the kitchen! The food was delicious and it got my kids to try things they wouldn’t at home. Highly recommend for families!

Fantastic cooking class - a must do in Palermo! - We had a fantastic time with Marco and the other guests at this class. Great fun and very informative - Marco was a wonderful, accomodating and knowledgeable teacher, full of advice and welcomed us very generously into his home for the class and amazing lunch together afterwards. Lots of great tips on making pasta and cannoli, cooking methods and use of ingredients in other dishes. Started at the market to choose ingredients, then back to Marco’s lovely apartment nearby to do the class. Can’t recommend highly enough!! Thank you Marco for a fantastic experience in Palermo!

Wonderful cooking class - Change of date from 6/30/24 to 7/01/24, per Marco’s request- no problem. Marco’s very amiable; took us through Capo Mercato to purchase ingredients for our class. Nice spacious kitchen for all students to have their own cutting board. Lots of opportunities for hands-on experience. Menu included making arancine (as Marco likes to point out that the rice ball in Palermo is considered feminine), ravioli and cannoli. All the foods we made tasted good.
