it’s the best thing we did in Sicily! - An unforgettable experience! Exploring Palermo by bike with Chiara was simply amazing.. She’s not just a guide — she’s a true storyteller, full of passion, knowledge, and love for her city. Chiara made us feel like locals, guiding us through hidden corners, lively markets, and breathtaking landmarks. Her energy is contagious, and her way of sharing the history and culture of Palermo is truly inspiring. Every stop came with a fun story, a historical fact, or a little secret that only someone deeply in love with Palermo could know. ❤️ If you’re thinking about discovering Palermo, forget the usual tours — do it on a bike with Chiara. You’ll laugh, learn, and fall in love with this incredible city. Highly recommended — it’s the best thing I did in Sicily

Great tour, worth its money - The bikes tour in the old centre of Palermo is great. The guide combines personal experiences with history and humor. She adapts her stories to the people on the tour.

5-star Palermo bicycle tour. - My husband and I recently did this bike tour, which was one of the best! Chiara, the owner of this small tourist company, is the actual person who guides the group around Palermo. She takes you to some of the prominent tourist attractions but also some of the hidden gems and gives a perspective from a true Palermo local. I 100% recommend this tour. However, it’s a little hard going on a bike on some of the cobblestoned streets, but she is highly aware and conscientious about her group.

Poor communication from tripadviser - My last review was negative but the criticism was not of SicilylandPalermo Bike tours who were as helpful as they could be in the circumstances of having to cancel the trip because the guide had ban accident my criticism was the bad communication by TripAdvisor and viator to me which confused the whole situation not of the tour provider .

DO NOT RECOMMEND - Would 1000% NOT recommend. First of all Palermo is definitely not the city to do a bike tour in with your family. The city is absolutely insane! Especially during the summer months. The trip is advertised as a trip for all ages. It asks for the height for each guest which was provided to the company not once, but twice. Never did it state that kids under certain heights would be required to ride with an adult in a child carrier. A child( baby) seat when they are 8 and 5 years old. When arriving the staff was unprepared for our group of 9. 7 adults and 2 children. The bikes were not prepared, nor were the children/ adult bikes prepared that we were uninformed about. Grant you, there are several other people on this tour, not just our family. When the instructor thought it was time to start the tour, several minutes off schedule, mind you, so she was very stressed, our family behind was still being prepared for our bikes by her staff. With the children seats, we did not have enough " adult manpower" to push an 8 and a very large 5 year old up hill in a child seat. Therefore, the bike flipped over from the get go with the 5 year old in it as we were rushing to catch up with the group. The group carried on, while we stayed behind to fix their mess. Ultimately we decided not to carry on with the tour due to the safety of the kids and how put out we were at this time. When asked for the tour guide to refund us our money, or give us a partial refund, they denied this and said we would have to take it up with TripAdvisor. Out of pocket almost $500 I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMANY AND THIS TOUR.

Terrible experience - We booked this tour 1,5 months in advance for our holiday in Palermo. The night before the tour, we suddenly received a message saying there was a mistake with our booking and asking if we could reschedule to the following day. This was not an option for us, as we had other plans. No clear explanation was given, just a vague note that they were “looking for a solution.” By 9:00 PM that evening, we still hadn’t received any clear response to our repeated questions about whether the tour was going ahead. Eventually, at 11:00 PM – the night before the tour – we got an email from Tripadvisor saying the booking for the next day had been cancelled. Still absolutely no direct message, explanation, or apology from the tour operator. The next morning, they finally responded – again with no apology for the inconvenience, no accountability, and no attempt to make up for the situation. The way this was handled was completely unprofessional and unacceptable. Communication was poor, unhelpful, and dismissive at every stage. Thankfully, we managed to book a last-minute food tour elsewhere – which was fantastic, by the way. If you’re visiting Palermo and want a reliable, respectful experience – do yourself a favor and book with someone else.
