You should do this!! - This seems like a daunting ride, but using an e bike, anyone can enjoy the ride. I thought the ride was going to be Palermo to piana and back, but it was so much more. First off, Sergio was great. Friendly, well prepared and safe. He uses a headset to communicate with all the riders which was a first for me. He explained the history and warned about upcoming hills, traffic, etc. we rode out of Palermo and went up to Monreale. We stopped at the Duomo which was beautiful and extremely ornate. Then rode to the Lago di Piana, took some pictures and then to Piana where we had a “light lunch” followed by cannolis. Light lunch is a huge plate of meats, cheeses, and breads. I wish we only ordered one plate, but man was it delicious. Right up the road we had cannolis made to order and dear lord were they good. We’ve had our fair share of cannoli, but this was next level delicious. Then the ride back into town. What a fantastic ride through the countryside. So much to see, views were amazing. I want to go back and do more cycling in Sicily!!

Perfecto! Best place for bikes/tours - Sensational tours & rides custom arranged by Sergio. The guides were excellent, providing us safe riding to areas of interest and giving wonderful insights into history, culture, and geography of the area. Sights were sensational and food stops excellent too. Sergio was great at communicating with us - continuously reminding us of events and checking to see that everything was ok. Couldnt ask for a better experience.

It was a wonderful experience in biking near Palermo. - It was a wonderful experience in biking near Palermo. Very gorgeous views and landscape. It is really worth. And the guide, Sergio, was very friendly and nice, gave a lot of explanations of the local history during the tour, and kept us safe. I do recommend Sicicla.

The Best Cannoli Anywhere - If you think you've had good cannoli, but you've never been to Piana degli Albanesi, then you haven't yet had the best cannoli in the world. This is a fantastic day trip, and should be on everyone's "to-do" list in Palermo. The cycling is not challenging if you are in relatively good shape, and if you are in just decent shape it is still doable. The bikes have an electric assist, the countryside is beautiful, the ride out of Palermo itself is thrilling, and the downhill portions of the afternoon ride are better than any amusement park ever thought about being. Sergio is amazing. His love for people, for Sicily, for hospitality...all just shines through his smile. As my kids said, "He just kept getting cooler and cooler the more we talked with him!" He kept us safe and helped us out every step of the way. A kinder and more generous person you will not find.
