Food tour with Innocenzo was highlight of Italy vacation - I was in Rome and Sicily for 2 1/2 weeks in October 2024, and without question, the Eating Palermo food tour with Innocenzo was the highlight. He was deeply knowledgeable and passionate, and provided such a personal lens though which to experience the region's cuisine and culture. The stops on the tour showcased special foods and local businesses, of course, but it was always against the backdrop of history and with touching backstories of what they meant to Innocenzo and his family,
He -- and the tour -- were beyond wonderful.

Perfecto!! - We went on a Monday street food tour in November and it was perfect! We had gone to the market the day before on our own and it was packed to the gills. Going on the tour on a Monday (and off season) definitely made for an easier time getting around and taking our time. Our host Giusi was so lovely and has clearly spent a lot of time curating the tastes and relationships with all of the vendors. Giusi is also a wonderful storyteller, weaving her life with food and Palermo into each stop. We were also joined by guide Benny who was so kind and made sure we were getting what we needed on the tour. I could tell that there’s a great collaboration between the guides and a positive working relationship, which I think goes to show what a lovely operation the whole thing is. I’d definitely join for one of the other Palermo tours in the future!

Wonderful evening in Palermo - Our guide was excellent. He showed us corners of Palermo that we would never have found on our own. We so enjoyed our evening, especially the stories of families, generations and how the people of Palermo Eat, socialize and work. Recommend this tour 100 percent!

Friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable guide, amazing food - We had such a good time with Bene, he was friendly, very knowledgeable about both Palermo and the food. We happened to be the only people on the tour and he was very easy to chat with. The evening with him showing us Palermo was almost worth it regardless of the food, but the food really was amazing. Fresh, full of flavour and a history of Sicily within it. We made pizza, and enjoyed really great places to eat too. Thank you!

Great Tour as always w Eating Europe - Great tour. We love Eating Europe. Not only great tours, ver accommodating. This time we asked for the evening tour to be fine for us during the day. Very accommodating. Lots of nice history and tidbits about Sicily and Palermo and great food, especially pizza.

A Nice Way to Explore a New City and New Cuisne - We joined Julia (the Italian version of course) for a roaming dinner and wine tour. We had perhaps 5 or 6 stops and more to eat than one would normally consume. We covered all the bases at unique locations where we were warmly welcomed and served the classics of Sicily. Our guide was delightful as were the other members of our small group. What a nice way to explore a new city with a unique cuisine!

A small group with big fun - Benny was a phenomenal tour guide and made the whole experience feel like a group of old friends were having dinner together. The tour was informational and included bits of history, time spent guessing ingredients in various dishes, and plenty of humor. The food and wine were also fantastic! Would definitely recommend to couples or single travelers in Palermo.
