A memorable evening! - Had a most enjoyable time on this food tour in the Kalsa district of Palermo. It was part of an Insight Vacations tour of Sicily. Our group was fairly large, about 24 people, and we went to 3 places that evening: Salumeria Alcolica for appetizers/street food, sitting outside; quaint Pipino Rosso for Pasta Alla Norma; and the Fountain of Shame square where we celebrated one of our participants birthday with delicious cannoli. Our 3 food guides were really informative and enthusiastic, sharing their knowledge of typical Palermo food. I particularly enjoyed the walk through the narrow streets of this part of Palermo. An overall great and fun experience!

A great food expérience in the heart of Palermo! - A fabulous experience in good company and an impeccable menu! Guisi has a list of unique/great restaurants to offer a real taste of Palermo : history of the place, quality of the dishes, everything is there! we never had taken a guided tours before even if we travel a lot and we would not hesitate to book with her again! It’s a 10/10 experience :)

A perfect evening in Palermo! - We loved experiencing Palermo with Guisi on this tour. She made us feel like family! The Sicilian pizza was our favorite, but every stop felt like a special gem off the beaten path. Guisi shared stories of family and food growing up in Palermo that that gave us insight to the people and culture of the city. A perfect way to spend an evening eating, drinking and strolling in Palermo!

Had a pretty good time on this tour. - Had a good time on this tour. Was a bit underwhelmed by 2 of the stops but overall it was interesting and nice to walk around with a local and get a bit of guidance on local cuisine. We had a small group of 5 people, and a really great guide, but it was sometimes challenging to hear what our guide spoke about as we walked. You definitely eat a substantial amount of food, so make sure you go with an empty stomach!
