The ancient world brought to life! - This tour is probably the single best way to experience the Greek temples and Roman villa. Our guides did a brilliant job of situating the ruins in their historical contexts. Better still, they clearly explained how the architectural features of the villa and temples reflect the very different worldviews of their creators. Indeed, this tour was a better introduction to the history and culture of the ancient world than anything I experienced at school or university. If you have even a passing interest in ancient Greece and Rome, then book this tour!

Great Excursion - This was a very memorable excursion and one not to miss. Giovanna was so knowledgeable and made the entire experience fabulous. We had a very small group - 9 people - so it felt almost like a private tour. The ruins were fascinating and Giovanna explained it all so well. So glad we did this tour.

Don't miss out on these historical sites that you cannot miss if you have a desire to see ancient arceological sites - The tour group was wonderful after we had a difficult start when we could not find the starting point and lost the directions on my phone while using WhatsApp. The guide helped locate us quickly and picked us up on the way and dropped us off at the spot with our car, so we did not get lost trying to find it. The tour was wonderful with centuries of history and religion explained in a very entertaining way. A spoiler, the guide picks you up on the bus and takes you to the Valley of the Temples where he grew up and his mother is the guide through the Valley. They both were terrific tour guides and helped make the experience even more wonderful than the stunning sites provided. Last, the driver was professional and drove carefully. You always felt safe going through the city, villages and countryside. Thank you for reading the review and hope you enjoy the tour as much as my wife and I did.

Well worth the drive! - The Tour Manager Nicolo, the local guide, Giovanna I think, and the driver Giacomo were great. The history, temples, and scenery were amazing.

A Very Hot visit - Bring a Hat! - Visited family near to Agrigento and went to see the Temples on way home. We arrived late afternoon and realised under 18s were admitted free. However they will check and you will need photo ID! A photo of your passport is acceptable. The buildings are incredible but there is a fair bit of walking which is fine if it’s not above 30 degrees!! There is a shuttle bus which charges 4euro per person. This will not take all day and looking at the Temples & maybe grabbing a water will take no more than a few hours. A bit pricey given that 30 years ago it was free!

Interesting Archeological Day Trip - This was an interesting day trip. The Villa Romana mosaics were worth seeing. Would have liked to see the archeological museum after the guide spoke about it on the tour of at the Valley of the Temples. Would have liked a bit more historical commentary from the guide on the bus.

A bit rushed. - The sites were great but you must move quickly to keep up with the group. At Agrigento the guide moved very quickly at the end of the tour and we could not keep up. At villa Romano, we could have spent another 30 minutes at the site.

Long, beautiful n interesting - The tour takes you to two places the first is a Roman ruin…kinda boring but if you are into historical places. This is for you. The second is Greek temple of the gods…this one has a tour guide . I enjoy the temples more than the Roman villa The fee that you paid is mostly for the transport but the entrance tickets to both areas are self pay($24/pp). The ride was 2.5hours there n 2.5 hours back…it’s good if you want to kill a whole day.
