Budelli Archipelago Maddalena - Budelli Island provides a safe haven for numerous boats, both large and small. It is renowned for the Pink Beach and the vibrant blue waters, often likened to ‘the Madonna’s mantle’. At Porto della Madonna, or the natural pools, guests can enjoy a 20-minute swim at anchor in front of Cavaliere Beach. The vessel is equipped with a stern platform and ladders for easy sea access or diving.
-
Island of Santa Maria - The boat will dock at Santa Maria Island for a beach stop, where visitors can swim in the stunning blue bay waters. The island is home to the historic Benedictine Monastery, now unused, and a few summer residences, including that of famed Italian actor Roberto Benigni. Onboard, guests can purchase lunch options such as pasta with shrimp sauce (EURO 10.00), a cold main course (EURO 12.00), or a Caprese salad (EURO 10.00).
-
Spiaggia Rosa - The Pink Beach is named for its sand’s unique hue, caused by a pink microorganism that inhabits the posidonia meadows and shells. When these organisms perish, the shells are broken by the sea and washed ashore. Due to anchoring and sea agitation, the posidonia has receded, altering the sand’s composition. Since 1998, regulations have been in place to protect the beach, prohibiting landing, bathing, and anchoring, allowing the sand to regain some of its color. A brief stop will be made from the boat, maintaining a distance from the marked buoys.
-
Spargi - Spargi Island is a pristine paradise, with its coastline shaped by the mistral wind and stunning coves with fine sand. It is a dream destination for tourists and a haven for wildlife. The tour will include a scenic sail around Spargi Island’s coast, visiting Cala Connari, Cala dell’Amore, Cala Corsara, and Cala Soraya. The journey will continue to the beautiful Cala Granara inlet, where guests can admire the famous rocks of Testa della Strega, the Bulldog Dog, and Italy in miniature. A third beach stop will allow ample time for swimming and photography. Spargi offers unique nature trails and military forts for hikers and walkers.
-
Santo Stefano Island - Santo Stefano Island, covering 3 square kilometers, is the fourth largest island. Previously, a significant portion was occupied by a NATO military base, which housed large American nuclear submarines until its decommissioning in 2002. The island is now awaiting redevelopment.
-
La Maddalena - Visitors to La Maddalena Island can explore its charming center, featuring the Santa Maria Maddalena church, open shops, and delightful ice-cream parlors for a refreshing treat after a day at sea. La Maddalena is the largest island, with a 45 km coastline of steep cliffs and gentle bays with beautiful beaches. The island’s rocks, including granite and porphyry, display brilliant colors under the sun. The lush Mediterranean macchia covers the island, reaching a peak height of 146 meters. A panoramic road encircles the island, offering breathtaking views of Sardinia’s coastline and the archipelago’s islands. The town, sea, and numerous services have made La Maddalena a popular tourist destination. From here, visitors can access any archipelago island or the renowned Costa Smeralda holiday spots.
