Shan is really highly recommended – you can’t discover Sri Lanka any better as you say full 5 stars - our 14-day trip through Sri Lanka was simply unforgettable! 🌴✨ Our guide Shan played a very large part in this. He not only showed us the most beautiful corners of the country, but also had such a professional, loving and family way that we felt incredibly comfortable from the first minute. This mixture of good organization, his warm nature and personal accompaniment really made the trip very special. Thanks for the great time and the great memory

Best Travels with Blue Lanka & Mr. Asitha - Blue Lanka helped organize this tour and did a great job at understanding my requirements. Helped me plan the tour route, suggested various options and was communicating constantly. Great support from Navodani Sasanika (Travel Experience Designer) and Methmal De Silva (Travel Experience Designer) from Blue Lanka. Asitha Chandana was our Tour Guide and drove us patiently everywhere. He is kind and very considerate, we felt safe with Mr. Asitha because he treated us like family. 20 stars put of 5 - It was such an amazing trip! The scenery was beautiful and we were treated with a lot of hospitality. My gallery might as well explode because of how many places we ended up going to in just a week! Our your guide was even more hospitable due to him always providing us the best of comfort and safety during every activity or ride to another city. I would highly recommend going on a trip to Sri Lanka and I would also recommend our amazing tour guide, Bruce, as your future tour guide! We had an amazing time and saw such beautiful sites. Thank you for letting us experience this!

A surprise trip that Sri Lanka never imagined! - I didn't know much about Sri Lanka, and Hong Kong did not promote many countries, but this time through Blue Lanka Tours arrangement, it completely overturned my imagination of the right place! The whole trip was arranged very well, the accommodation was comfortable, the trip was rhythmic and not compulsive, the most surprising was the Safari experience in Yala National Park, seeing wildlife from nearby, shocking and touching! To especially commend my guide Dilshan, knowledgeable, clear interpretation, careful care of each detail; Driver Aruna steady and kind, every morning and evening delivery on time, very reassuring. All along I felt safe and comfortable, the weather was nice, and the locals were kind. A romantic dinner and cake arranged by the hotel on the day of our birthday is a great idea!

A trip of a lifetime - Our trip to Sri Lanka was unique. As a destination, I recommend it to those who like many changes and contrasts. Especially with the help of Blue Lanka Tailor, we managed to see many beauties from temples and sacred places and enjoy the natural landscape of the country such as the waterfalls. Equally important was our local guide, Mr. Thushara, who was very kind and He did his best to satisfy us all. Don’t be afraid to ask mr. Thushara for advice on places that will leave you speechless by their beauty. Our safari trip to Yala was equally beautiful. We saw elephants, deer, various species of birds and crocodiles. If I find myself in Sri Lanka again (and I hope so), I will definitely choose Blue Lanka Tours to live unique experiences again.

Sri Lanka in 2 weeks - We made a tour trough the island with a private van with driver and guide. Everything was perfect, the guide Manas was very friendly for the kids, he has lots of knowledge and took us directly to every interesting spot. I advise to have a driver also because driving in Sri Lanka is crazy! The meals were very good and the hotels also. Sri Lanka is a wonderfully and safe destination, people are very friendly. It’s such a diverse destination, with lots of history, wild nature and religion. And the food is amazing! Thank you Manas for making our vacation so great!

Yala at its Best ! - A very professional team to deal with, pick up & drop offs were great. Amazing curry lunch. Great driver for our Safari trip, making sure we saw as many animals & birds along the way . Our host & driver , Thushara, was great. Highly recomend !

Comprehensive and Willing to Customize - Blue Lanka was recommended to us for a 16 day tour of Sri Lanka. They assigned us a private driver/guide, Chanaka Cooray, and booked all our small boutique hotels based on our request and customized our trip. Chanaka handled all the details of obtaining tickets which took a lot of the administrative burden off of us. The food was fantastic. We were a bit last-minute in booking our tour and Blue Lanka accommodated us well. Our tour included historical sites in Dambulla, Anuradhapura, Sigiriya, Polonnaruwa and Galle. Our tour also included temples, cooking classes, safaris, shopping, Ayurvedic experiences, elephant sanctuary (our personal highlight of the trip), cultural dance performance, hiking, tea and cinnamon plantation tours and a train ride to Ella. On a 16 day journey, the assigned guide can really influence the trip. Thankfully our guide, Chanaka, was cheerful, loves his country and was earnest to be a good ambassador. He picked us up in the middle of the night upon our arrival and stuck with us throughout the 16 day journey. He was timely, everyday and shared experiences that he lives. He did not shy away from our questions about culture, economics and politics. He was receptive to our interests and when we got a bit over-saturated with temple visits, he pivoted well. Occasionally, we had to be direct in asking Chanaka to accompany us in touring different things and we learned that he has to read his clients, many of whom like more privacy as they tour a site. My friend and I wanted Chanaka to help us interpret what we were seeing and he is very knowledgeable--so my only suggestion is that he ask his clientele how much interpretation they want. A couple other thoughts for the Sri Lankan tourist and suggestions for Blue Lanka: this country isn't as sophisticated in tourism as some. We wish Blue Lanka would have informed us before departure on a few aspects: ° Appropriate clothing: Blue Lanka should recommend bathing clothes and sandals. We didn't know until the day before our elephant sanctuary visit that we needed "bathing" clothes. Thankfully our guide mentioned it the night before but we would've brought particular clothing had we known. ° My friend brought touring shoes, but with all the rain and temple tours, sandals should be recommended. Putting socks and shoes back on after touring wet and gravely temples is a pain. ° Binoculars and flora/fauna guidebooks should be provided. At least they should recommend people bring their own binoculars if they aren't going to provide them. I was surprised the safari didn't include binoculars, nor were there any flora or fauna guidebooks and we had no one in the back of the safari jeep to interpret and ID, rather, the driver would stop and point and then we'd have a loud exchange to know where we should look and what we were seeing. Not ideal. Thankfully, after 6 hours of safari, the staff at Yala's Tribe lodge loaned us a bird book that helped us accurately ID over 50 species of birds that greatly enhanced the 10 hours of safari experience.

Fabulous trip to Sri Lanka - highly recommend Blue Lanka for their 5-star+ service. - We have just returned from a 12 day tour with Blue Lanka travelling around Sri Lanka. The service offered by BlueLanka and our guide Chathura Liyanage (Liya) was superb. If there was an option for a 5Star++ review the company certainly would deserve it in our opinion. Throughout the whole process from the planning stage, the staff at Blue Lanka (Reshani & Himaya) were on hand to answer any query, and did so very quickly, with detailed answers to any questions. During the trip itself Reshani regularly touched base to check that everything was running smoothly; when my husband had a minor fall, the company immediately offered to pay for a doctor to check on him (fortunately this wasn’t needed), but we felt very reassured that Blue Lanka were there to provide any support. We were also very happy with the hotels chosen, and the itinerary was well planned, so we didn’t feel rushed, and also weren’t travelling more than 3 hours a day to get from one location to the next. We were also extremely fortunate in having Liya as a guide. He is a licensed Tour Guide, so was able to be both driver and tour guide. He is extremely knowledgeable and very patiently answered our many questions on the history and life in Sri Lanka - we certainly learned a lot from him during our stay. He was also very personable and friendly, and we really enjoyed spending 12 days exploring the country with him. We would highly recommend him as a guide. We don’t normally write extensive reviews on Trip Advisor, but given the first rate service offered by Blue Lanka, we have made an exception - our only regret is that they don’t offer tours to more countries! Great job all round, and we would highly recommend them to anyone considering a trip to Sri Lanka.
