- Maya Bay - Arrive at Maya Bay, the famous filming location of “The Beach” starring Leonardo DiCaprio. This breathtaking bay is encircled by 100-meter-high cliffs on three sides. Inside, you’ll find several beaches, most of which are small and some only appear at low tide. The main beach stretches about 200 meters with soft white sand, vibrant underwater coral, and clear waters teeming with exotic fish.
- Loh Samah Bay - Explore the islands of Phi Phi Don and Phi Phi Ley. While Phi Phi Don is the primary island, Phi Phi Ley offers plenty for tourists. Its limestone walls protected it from significant tsunami damage, and today, the island and its beaches remain as beautiful as ever.
- Pileh Bay - Pileh Lagoon is a small inlet on the second largest island in the Phi Phi archipelago, separated from Maya Bay by a towering limestone cliff. The lagoon’s waters are some of the clearest azure you’ll ever see.
- Viking Cave - Stroll down Ratchadumnoen Road, also known as the Royal Way, for a city tour. Here, you’ll find Viking Cave (Tham Phaya Nak) on the eastern side of Phi Phi Ley. Despite its name, there’s no evidence that Viking seafarers ever visited this site. The name comes from cave paintings of long boats that resemble Viking ships.
- Monkey Beach - Located northwest of Loh Dalam Bay, the secluded cove of Ao Ling (Monkey Bay) is inhabited by a colony of monkeys who are not shy and will eagerly approach visitors in search of bananas.
- Bamboo Island - Known as Ko Mai Phai in Thai, Bamboo Island is a small, flat island unlike its rocky Phi Phi counterparts. It’s covered in lush vegetation and encircled by white sandy beaches. The island offers excellent snorkeling opportunities along the coral reef just 50 meters from the shore.
