Amazing tour, highly recommend it! - I booked the DMZ tour for my birthday and chose the small group option. Our guide, Joo-Ee, was excellent—she was prompt in all communications leading up to the pick-up, which was right on time at the hotel. The van was comfortable, and Joo-Ee was extremely knowledgeable about the places, events, and current affairs surrounding the DMZ. She provided thorough explanations and patiently answered individual questions. One thing I especially appreciated was how she made sure to take everyone's photos, particularly for those traveling solo. No one had to ask for pictures—it was thoughtfully taken care of. She also pointed out hidden gems, like the map on the floor showing the North-South Korea border, which many people didn’t know about. Additionally, she brought enough binoculars for everyone at the Dora Observatory so we could all see into North Korea, which was a thoughtful touch. Overall, the tour was incredibly enjoyable, and I highly recommend it, especially with Joo-Ee as your guide and the small group option.

We really enjoyed our... - We really enjoyed our tour with guide Jake. Arrived on time to pick us up. He drove the car very safely. The tour to the demilitarised zone was super, like the trip to the suspension bridge and the temple near the bridge. The only thing was there was not enough time at the Dora observatory. But as we realised this was due to security reasons.

Fantastic DMZ tour - This was such an interesting tour! Our guide Joo-Ee was very knowledgeable and her English was perfect. Being in a smaller group was great as it was more personal and more comfortable. We would 100% recommend this tour for anyone who visits Seoul.

Great experience! Walks are a little tough. - Great experience and very interesting. Just be aware the walks down the 3rd tunnel and the bridge walk is a little physical. The company was great as the original time we arrived the tours were cancelled due to the heavy snow. They allowed us to re-book another day at no cost.

DMZ tour: A memorable experience! - Our tour was on 12/26/24. We are a family of 6 including my mom who is 80 years old. Vincent was our guide and he came to pick us up at 6:30am to start the tour. He’s very fluent in English and exceptionally knowledgeable and engaging with his storytelling. We were moved by the heartbreaking stories and history behind the DMZ. Our boys said this was the most memorable day of our 10 day trip to Korea. Wear comfy shoes as the walk down and up the tunnel is a bit challenging! But even my mom was able to handle it. We highly recommend this tour!

Exceptionally well-run tour! - This was an extremely well-run tour. Pre-communication from the tour guide (Vincent) was helpful and hotel pick-up was precisely on-time. Vincent is exceptionally knowledgeable about the histories of South and North Korea. We learned so much and especially enjoyed the smaller group setting. The suspension bridge was an added treat!

Great experience would do it again! - JooEE our guide, was a delight. She spoke clearly and gently, giving us all the information about the DMZ. We went to different points in the area including the 3rd tunnel and suspension bridge, among other places. We had a great time.

Great day trip to the DMZ. Very interesting and well run - Joo-Ee was the best guide and made this tour really interesting. She provided not only relevant information but also added personal perspectives which made it unique. It’s an interesting idea to make a continuing war and the resultant DMZ a tourist destination but it seems to work with our fascination for the what seems like a dark and forbidding world just across a 10km wide strip of land. The tunnel wasn’t too exerting but you do have to bend over in parts and it is narrow. The observation deck was a bit surreal looking at another country that is so shuttered. On the way back the suspension bridge was great and a beautiful walk through the forest and snow. Everything ran like clockwork. Transport was great. We loved it and would recommend it to anyone.
