This DMZ tour is a must do if you visit Seoul. - Did the DMZ tour and it was an absolute highlight of my week in Korea. Our tour guide Katie was fantastic sharing stories and detail as we explored the DMZ. She also gave great information on souvenirs and the best food and drinks to get during the day. I definitely came away with a deeper understanding of Korean history and how tragic it has been. It’s incredible how South Korea have rebuilt over the last 70 years. I highly recommend this tour.

Best Way to see the DMZ - Yoon was an amazing tour guide. She provided tons of information and interjected humor which made it even more interesting. The tour bus was also very comfortable.

The DMZ trip was enjoyable to me. - It's an intriguing location. Julie was our guide, and she is a really kind and kind person. We were given a few Korean goodies to consume. walked through the third tunnel, visited the community within the DMZ, and had the opportunity to glimpse North Korea via the telescopes. Everything is fascinating. Although it was cold and it would have been better if they had done the hotel pick-up as specified in the reservation, I felt comfortable wandering about Seoul at the time. All in all, I had a good day, and I suggest visiting DMZ if you're ever in South Korea.

Educational and fun - Erica led our tour and was very informative...funny, too. The sites were very educational and the overall experience was great. For anyone taking the trip, make sure you enter your required information correctly so it doesn’t hold up the whole group when entering the DMZ!

Good day out but be prepared for surprises - For most people, a visit to the Korean Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) means going to the Joint Security Area (JSA), but, tough, it is closed indefinitely. We tried in 2019 (closed on account of a swine flu outbreak), and again in 2024 (closed on account of a recent defection). This is disappointing because, like many people, we do not go to Korea every day. The fallback is a visit to the region bordering the DMZ, with an opportunity to see North Korean territory from a distance. Beware, on these excursions, that various "promised" tourist sites (the blocked tunnels dug by the North Koreans, Camp Greaves) can be closed at short notice. This is what happened to us on this occasion: we were informed the day before the tour that, on account of some local walking event (?!), we would be following an alternative itinerary - so no tunnels for us (did the walking event really take the walkers down the blocked tunnels???). The following day, the area was apparently going to be closed for the DMZ Marathon (running down the tunnels this time?). And then when, on our chosen day, we arrived at Camp Greaves, we were turned away... clearly on account of bureaucratic incompetence (or the computer...), because the staff (who would frighten away the North Koreans single-handedly) were apparently incapable of accepting the payment for a collective entry ticket... The mind boggles. The Korean authorities should be encouraged to get a grip on things if they are at all interested in people taking this aspect of their national tourism seriously. All of that being said, our guide, Katie, did her absolute utmost, in the face of these highly adverse circumstances - that she kept discovering as we went along - to make up for everything, and to put a smile on it all. If I had been in her shoes, I would have had a nervous break-down - but she made every possible effort to make us all happy. She even engineered an alternative alternative itinerary on the spur of the moment. Many thanks indeed to Katie for saving what turned out to be a great day. But really, the Koreans need to get their act together!

Great, once in a lifetime experience - Katie was super knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and entertaining host! The whole trip was a great learning experience. For those wondering, very little time was spent on the bus - it was mostly walking around.

Unique experience at the DMZ - A grand day out. The excursion started early and ended at 4:45pm but it is worth the trip as it is a privilege to witness the line of demarcation between the two Koreas with your own eyes. Laura was a great guide for the day: organised and engaging. Thanks!

She was personable and open to any questions. She did a great job at giving us ample time to explore each stop, while also keeping to a time schedule.
