The trail leading to the entrance of Lower Antelope Canyon is composed of Navajo sandstone making the decent to the canyon entrance both rocky and sandy, for our guests’ safety and comfort we advise appropriate shoes be worn.
As you begin your 1 – 1.5-hour adventure (all-walking) with Lower Antelope Canyon Tours, your experience will span roughly 1,800 meters (1.1 miles) round trip. Upon descending down five flights of stairs (35 meters) into the largest cavern of the tour, guests’ will begin their majestic ascent through the kaleidoscope of colors naturally provided by the unique creation of Navajo Sandstone, as a result of rain, wind, and erosion. The numerous echelons throughout the canyon consist of eight uniquely built ladders (with handrails) for safety.

Antelope Canyon - This was a spectacular tour! Gabby did a great job pointing out the features of the canyon, and the native plants as well. She even treated us to music from a flute like instrument. I highly recommend this tour!.

Beautiful! - Loved this tour. It was a little more crowded than I would have preferred, but it was beautiful and well worth doing this. Eder was a great guide and he played a Native American flute for us in the canyon. It was fantastic. It felt like an adventure with the narrow walkways and ladders inside the canyon. Thank you!

Great tour to a beautiful hidden treasure - Excellent tour to this beautiful hidden treasure! Nadine our guide was so patient and very helpful so the giving us tips on photography to get the best pictures of the canyon. Very well run, would definitely recommend!

Informative Tour - Our tour guide GABBY was very informative on our tour across the Antelope Canyon! She pointed out a lot of the important views that we would’ve missed on our own and explained how the canyon itself was formed! Highly recommend!

Great tour! - Gabby was an excellent guide! Would highly recommend her for tours. She showed us some cool photo techniques. Tour was done in a safe manner and she taught us a lot of cool facts about her people and the area.

Nate - It was an amazing experience to see the lower canyon but the tour guide Nate made it spectacular!! He showed us how and where to take the best photos and Nate simply made our day with his humor!

Excellent - It was an amazing tour and our experience was enhanced immensely by our tour guide, Carmelita. She was very knowledgeable about culture, history and photography. She was also very helpful with one of the women in our group that has cancer and needed assistance at some places.

Unforgettable Experience at Lower Antelope Canyon with an Outstanding Guide! - I had an incredible time visiting Lower Antelope Canyon — this tour exceeded all expectations. The canyon itself is absolutely breathtaking, with its stunning rock formations and magical lighting, but what truly made the experience unforgettable was our guide, Justin.
Justin was hands down the best and most helpful guide I’ve ever had on any tour, anywhere. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and incredibly attentive to the group’s needs. He not only shared fascinating insights about the geology and history of the canyon, but also helped us get the perfect photos — knowing exactly where and how to capture the best shots.
If you’re planning a trip to Antelope Canyon, I highly recommend this tour and especially ask for Justin if you can. He made an already amazing destination even more memorable.
