Incredible monastery - This is definitely a hidden gem and the biggest Charterhouse in Europe. We were on our way south a stayed in this lovely mountainside town. It is known for this incredible UNESCO site from the year 1306!! It is easy to spend several hours going through the beautiful marble chapels, eating area, living quarters for thee cloistered monks. We were so glad we happened upon it.
