An Awesome Experience - I thoroughly enjoyed my scuba diving experience. My diving instructor was kind & patient, and his encouraging words helped me get past sea sickness while I was on the ocean surface. Yes, if you are prone to sea sickness, I highly suggest you take Dramamine prior to launching out on the dive boat. Once under the waves, my sea sickness vanished, and my eyes widen with wonder and joy, as I beheld colorful corral & fish as I followed my instructor’s lead. I definitely have to scuba dive again— & eventually earn my diving certification. The beauty & serenity of the ocean compels me to make it happen— no lie. -D. Newson-

Incredible dive experience - An incredible experience. With a clear structure and emphasise on safety at no point did I have concerns. The team were welcoming and friendly and Nicole was a great dive leader. A small group size made sure we were supervised all the time and it was clear that we had to be able to complete safety drills in the pool before we were going to go out on the dive boat. The reef was incredible and I would recommend putting your hand in your pocket and buying the video and images taken off your dive as they are a great quality and memory of a fantastic morning.

Epic experience - Great Riviera experience. We took our four kids, ages 10-14 for their first dive. They were not certified. Our dive guides, Anna and Jordan, were great with the kids. The pool skills training was well done and the kids got comfortable with their gear. The reef dive was great with lots of fish, nice reef features, and good visibility. The guides did a nice job on the descent to make sure everyone was comfortable and safe. Awesome first family SCUBA experience! Thank you for offering this intro to diving package.

Discover Scuba diving - We did the discover scuba diving experience with Lorenzo. The lady on the desk was super helpful with what the options for scuba diving were especially as we have done a couple of dives before but do not have our PADI qualification. If we had longer we would definitely have done the open water qualification. The session started with some theory then pool practice for the equipment which was a great reminder, learnt lots and good for confidence, everything was very clear and safe. The we went out on the boat; Lorenzo and the team were really good, the scuba diving was amazing. Lorenzo pointed lots of fish etc out on the reef. Had an amazing time, only wish would have been to have a photo or two for the experience/memory but understand for safety why it’s better not to be concentrating on a GoPro etc whilst learning to dive! Amazing experience, highly recommend :)

Great for beginners! - The overall experience was fantastic for someone who has never scuba dived before. They were thorough in the beginning lesson before we headed out in the boat. The staff we were with were wonderful and patient and made me feel more comfortable with the experience. My husband really enjoyed the underwater sites! The only issue I had was the lack of communication leading up to the day of the excursion. They told us to report to a specific hotel at 9am. The timing was different than what the description on their ad says so I messaged them again the day before the event to confirm the time and was told to report at 8am to a different hotel that was twice the distance from the first. This changed our travel drastically as we went from planning a cab ride to having to rent a car because the cost of the cab there and back would have been more than the car rental. More advanced notice would have been helpful and less stressful for us. If I hadn’t messaged them about the time discrepancy, we would have missed out on the experience completely because they didn’t communicate with us.

Their customer service makes you have a bad experience - Our experience was at the Catalonia hotel in Riviera Maya. We decided to do Scuba Diving for Catalina, since she gave us a trial class in the pool of the Catalonia hotel, and she is a very nice, attentive and helpful person, she was the one who convinced me with her nice treatment. However, when it came to making the payment, the person in charge (receptionist) Alexa had terrible service, as did the others at the front desk, since if you want to read everything they make you sign, they get desperate and are pressuring you to that you sign Alexa speaks in English to the others at the reception, thinking that you don't understand and saying things like "if they don't hurry, it's not my problem, after all, it's not my sale", she looks ugly at you and makes you feel uncomfortable. Then he justifies himself by saying that the comment is not for you, when clearly it was, because we were the only ones there. When asking for information, it seems like he's doing you a favor, and those who serve you the same, have a face all the time. In the end we only hired the service because Catalina, very nice, told us that we would not do the Scuba with them, and her service is excellent, but that does not take away the bad taste in your mouth that they put you through with their faces and the comments from them. from the front desk team. Our instructor was Jose Miguel and he is good at first, but he gets very desperate when it comes time to practice, they say they go down slowly and he wanted everything fast because we were with other divers, who were already experts and we were running out of time. My boyfriend had problems getting down and Jose Miguel forcibly took him down. When my boyfriend finally managed to get down, we were with a 12-year-old girl who had already gone down into the sea and got in because she was drowning. She took off her mask ( obviously without experience), and the only thing Jose Miguel did was say that he couldn't do that, that it was dangerous and he put her on the boat, he didn't let her get back down, or finish the scuba diving (we paid for nothing). Since Jose Miguel saved work because of the 3 people who were already only 2 went under the sea. Very nice and everything you see at sea, but its Staff is terrible, without experience or good customer service. Except for Catalina, I wish they would review that, because it doesn't make you want to go back. What is a good experience they make it somewhat annoying.

Bad business - We were supposed to get picked up at our hotel but a day before we were supposed to go I go to viator website to ask what time we were getting picked up only to see a message about us getting a taxi to another hotel..I tried calling it the number didn’t work so we called viator customer service..then we get a message saying they don’t come to our hotel because we were in Cancun..we weren’t we were at the Bahia principe Akumal…I asked for hotel pick up and. Didn’t even get an option of paying the extra $20 which we would have paid…needless to say we didn’t get help from anyone and couldn’t go because we were not paying for a taxi when we asked for pick up…we definitely don’t recommend this place because we picked it because they offered hotel pick up only for them not to give it to us…

Terrible experience - We got a text from them the day before that they couldn't find a driver for us even though transportation was supposed to be included. The start point is located on the beach of a luxury resort. When we got there, they didn't know if we were going out because of the weather. An hour later, they made the decision that it was safe to go scuba diving. The theory lesson was good. When we practiced in the water, it felt a bit rushed. We got our equipment and headed to the boat. The people on the boat were rushing our guide. Our guide was cursing and clearly stressed out on the boat. We did not feel safe. There were huge waves and were dropped off in the wrong location. We did not see any coral reef. The weather was clearly not acceptable, the activity should have been cancelled. We waited for 30 minutes freezing waiting for the boat to pick us up. On the way back, the instructor said the boat doesn't have an anchor so we had swim back to shore with all our equipment. Overall, this traumatic experience left us emotionally scarred with anxiety and fear. This was our first time scuba diving. I would not recommend PADI for any beginners.
