Entertaining tour of Oxford University. - I’m not normally a fan of this type of touristy attraction, but this has changed my mind. Even in the rain, this was exceptionally good, well worth the $43 ticket price. Our guide was very entertaining, knowledgeable, funny. I would recommend this to anyone who has an interest in the history of Oxford University, Tolkien, CSLewis. Highly entertaining.

Sam Day did a brilliant job! - Our tour with Sam Day was truly special. As an alumnus, he didn't just rattle off historical facts; he expertly wove together historical facts with his personal stories, peculiar college traditions, and the famous novels and people that Oxford has inspired. This gave us a much deeper understanding of how everything came to be and the status quo. The playful jokes he made about Cambridge added a light, fun touch to the whole experience. The tour is engraved in my memory - won't ever forget it. Thanks Sam!

A Fantastic Oxford Experience with Julie – The Perfect Guide to This Historic City - We recently took a 2-hour walking tour of Oxford University. We had the pleasure of being guided by Julie, an alumna of the university, and she made the whole experience truly unforgettable. Having a guide who actually studied at Oxford added such a personal and insightful touch to the tour. Julie struck the perfect balance between historical context and behind-the-scenes glimpses into student life. We didn’t just learn about Oxford’s storied past; we also got a real sense of what it’s like to live and study there today, and how the admissions process works (which was surprisingly fascinating!). We visited iconic sites like the Bodleian Library, the Sheldonian Theatre, and the Radcliffe Camera, all as impressive in person as you’d imagine. One of the highlights was getting to step behind the gates of Trinity College, which felt like a privilege in itself. The Divinity School was unfortunately closed that day, but the rest of the tour more than made up for it. Julie shared so many interesting stories and little details that brought everything to life. She told us this was only her 16th tour but honestly, you’d never know it. She was clear, confident, and had a great sense of humor. Her passion for Oxford and its traditions really came through. If you're heading to Oxford and want more than just a surface-level wander around the city, a tour with Julie is the way to go. It was thoughtful, informative, and just the right amount of academic and fun. Highly recommend!

Brilliant leadership - An Insider alumni with incredible detailed knowledge. We enjoyed it very much and barely noticed the pouring rain. The Oxford story was as transparent and lively as if it had just happened last week. Sam was an excellent guide, lively, detailed and very humorous. Thank you

A Great Overview of Oxford History and Student Life - The tour was well organized, informative, and fun! Our tour guide, Jamie, a current student of the university, did a great job managing our group on the busy streets, and giving us a good mix of historical context, anecdotal stories, and an overview of student life in Oxford. Our teenage son felt so inspired after the tour he now wants to get into Oxford! Thank you, Jamie!
