During your journey, witness stunning views including the Borrowdale Valley, Buttermere, Honister pass, Ullswater, and Grasmere. The tour makes numerous stops, one notable location being the Castlerigg Stone Circle, known for its scenic appeal. A friendly driver/guide will give an enlightening commentary throughout your full day tour of this breathtaking territory of lakes and mountains.
- Please arrive early as the tour cannot wait for late passengers or late trains
- Children must be over the age of 5 to travel on this tour
- There will be a designated lunch stop where you’ll be able to purchase lunch
- There are toilet stops on route

Packed tour with lots of beautiful sights - This was a wonderful tour. I saw so much of the Lake District in one day: lakes, gorgeous views, a prehistoric stone circle, towns and villages. And this all mixed with the interesting commentary from the driver Mike. I was absolutely not bored for a moment the whole day. Would definitely recommend!

Excellent Tour all should take it - It was an excellent Tour & I enjoyed immensely. This Tour covered whole of Lake District all the Lakes & sights. I am very happy with Tour Guide cum Driver Mr.Matt. He did a commendable job. I wish we more Guides like Mr.Matt. I highly recommend this Tour.

Great tour if you’re new to the Lakes - If you’re new to the Lake District then the 10 Lakes Tour is a great way to get a glimpse of some of the sights including stop overs in Keswick and Grasmere where you get a chance to stop at Sarah Nelsons to grab the famous Grasmere Gingerbread. Andy was a great guide who gave us lots of information along the way. The tour gave us some great ideas as to what else we could get up to on our visit.

A wonderful day out - Did this tour on Thursday 22nd May . Wonderful experience from start to finish . Saw so many beautiful lakes and scenery made even more enjoyable by our fantastic driver and guide GEOFF . He was so knowledgable about the lakes and area we couldn’t have wished for anyone better, had lots of stops to enable us to take great photos. The tour was worth every penny and we would so it all over a again if we get the opportunity as we were just blown away by it , fortunately we also had lovely weather. Based on our experience with Geoff we would definitely choose Mountain Goat tours again. J & B

Great day out - Just wanted to recommend this trip to everyone visiting Lake District. It’s a great chance to view as much beautiful views as possible. Especially if you lucky enough to get a coach driver like Tim!
Tim is very friendly, funny and helpful guide, he told us a lot of interesting stories about each place we visited today. He is so knowledgeable and that’s why I suggest if you could make a leaflet for his trip which will make his journey not only enjoyable but beneficial too.

I would look elsewhere - This tour could have been so much better than it was. The driver was completely incomprehensible when on the speaker system. In person we could understand him fine but the speaker system was terrible and muffled. Both us and other passengers repeatedly told him he could not be understood while driving, but he continued the entire 8 hours doing the exact same thing - no adjustments were made. We were in the back row and basically heard/understood nothing of what was said unless we asked questions during the breaks. There was also so much backtracking - we drove by some of the same spots three times - I understand there were three tours out the same day so maybe they were working around each other and the route was inefficient (and as a result we had less time in each location). Also everyone else on the bus was 70+ - I don't recommend this for families with kids. I am sure there must be better options out there.
