Don’t hesitate to book with Damien! - Great tour even before it started. He communicated well about picks up and what to bring. Arrived promptly in a very nice air conditioned vehicle to drive to the auschwitz tour. Told us what to expect and walked us to the entrance and showed us where to get snacks etc. was waiting when we were done and even dropped us off in the market square 5 out of 5!

One of the best private tours I have ever had! - I highly recommend this tour! Communication with the company was easy and they responded quickly. Damian was our driver. He arrived down to the minute the time we were expecting him, he was driving a nice big and clean car to fit 5 people. He reminded us to bring our ID’s. He was polite, and told us what to expect from our tour. We were early so he drove us around to see the train station where people arrived and to see the cattle train they arrived in. He walked us from the parking lot to our tour group, had our tickets, and then met us at the gate at the end of the tour. Then he drove us to Birkenau once again, walked us to our tour group again, and waited for us to leave. We saw lines everywhere and a lot of people lost. Admission to Auschwitz-Birkenau is free, you have to get tickets from their website. However, not having to navigate a car ride both ways from Krakow with kids, and not having to try to figure out how to get around the museum grounds full of people was totally worth the price of this trip excursion. One of the best private tours I have ever had. As for the tour themselves, there are only vending machines food, if you come with kids. If you are going in the summer bring an umbrella, it is hot at Birkenau.

Unbelievable experience that felt surreal. - It was a very somber experience, to stand in exact spot the horror events took place. This will stay with us the rest of our lives.

5-star service - Damian drove us from Krakow to Auschwitz; organised a private tour for us there, and then drove us the 6 hours to Prague. He was an excellent driver and his vehicle is very comfortable. Great English and extremely knowledgeable- definitely a 5-star service. Highly recommended.

An emotional experience. - This is a must do trip, it’s emotionally draining to see the horrors people suffered during this dark period of humanity. I’m glad we had the private transport, not only for the privacy to reflect during our journey back to the hotel, but to have a knowledgeable driver who knew and understood the history and culture of Poland. Damian was the best and looked after us all day.

Best of the best - Great service from Damien. We were contacted the day before, for final confirmation of pick up time etc. Collected at the hotel and transported to the camps in a clean and comfortable mini van. Damien was very warm, knowledgeable and conversational. Looked after us the the entirety of the trip. Fantastic, I couldn't recommend him enough, in fact I'm writing this review on the way back to the hotel. I would highly recommend this to anyone seeking a first class, comfortable and convenient experience. Thank you

Somewhere you have to visit - Walking through 1 of the gas chambers, seeing the furnace's right next to it. Walking into birkenau and just seeing the vast scale of the camp

Best Way to do This Tour! - We booked a private transport from Krakow to the Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial Site. Damian Szafran met us in the lobby of our hotel (right on time!) and gave some good insight along the way. His van was very nice and he went above & beyond to make sure we were comfortable and assist with the tour. Overall a great experience, thanks in no small part to Damian’s efforts Thank you, Damian!

Illuminating Experience, But……….. - Illuminating, sobering experience, but tour feels rushed as guide must adhere to schedule for each group. Much preferred Holocaust Museum in DC where there is time to absorb the total experience. Only a 10-minute break is allowed between Auschwitz and Birkenau after a 90-minute walk at Auschwitz and an upcoming 1.8 mile walk at Birkenau. Strenuous day possibly for seniors which should be noted in tour description.
