Daniel is a wonderful guide - This is an absolutely wonderful tour to see the hard to get to and beautiful places of Asturias. Daniel was an excellent and helpful guide and made everything go so well in a great travel mode with the group. The value of this tour is also really great.

Day outdoors - Spectacular, worth the ascent, the views are beautiful. Santiago was my guide and a 10 for him, very attentive, very interesting explanations and with touches of humor. Even though the excursion lasts 12h (at least for those of us who start in Oviedo), it becomes very enjoyable and spends the day flying. Highly recommended.

Excellent tour - Santiago always attentive, professional and excellent quality throughout the tour, and also the bus operator a professional for the most difficult sections of the ascent and descent of the peaks. 100% recommended

A must see tour….. - Excellent tour to see some amazing and worthwhile sights. Our tour guide, Aurora, and our driver, David, did a great job. David was awesome in maneuvering the scary curves while going up to see the lakes and then down to the cathedral. Thank you both for a memorable day.

Unforgettable experience, both for nature, landscapes, history, and humane treatment - The experience was hugely rewarding. The guide who played us, Santiago, was 10. He knows a lot about many things and also loves Asturias, so he is passionate about what counts. I was with my mother, a lady of 70 years and somewhat reduced mobility and became interested and worried at all times. And Elijah, the driver, has extraordinary expertise. The views, beautiful. And the Sanctuary, a place to visit at least once in your life. Great everything!!

Great excursion of Covadonga - Excellent tour leader who explained in detail all along, in English and Spanish. The scenery was breathtaking and so it was a complete wonderful experience all day long.

Mixed feelings. The... - Mixed feelings. The locations we went to were nice and I would go back to all of them again. However, the tour was dragged out e.g. we spent FIFTY minutes in a random bus station while Buendia loaded more people on the bus and hardly any time in Llanes, which is beautiful. When the additional people boarded, there was no organisation or consideration of the fact that there had already been travellers on the bus. The initial travellers should have been given access first. There is also the issue with lots of time wasted counting guests. The logical thing to do would be to wait outside the bus and count as each person boarded. However, the guide kept getting on and started counting before everyone was back. As a result, he counted us 3 times each time. I get that he was trying to be consciencous, but it looked disorganised. The guide also made no effort to engage with the group (at one point, he had headphones on while we were stood outside?????). At the start of the day, I didn't even realise he was the tour guide until he made us cross the road to get on the bus. A 'hello, how long have you been in Oviedo?' etc makes a huge difference to how we feel about guides and also group dynamics. It breaks the ice for us. I understand Spanish and English, and the guide did an excellent job translating and guiding equally. I can imagine that being super tough, so I will give credit - for actual guiding, he was great. I wonder if the guide would have found small talk easier if the group was only in English or Spanish - it seems strange we had the mixed group when it looked like the other tour (in spanish) wasn't completely full. I also highly encourage Buendia to either shorten the tour time; add another actual stop (not the bus station) or not take on the extra guests. Despite my criticism, I would take the tour again but some slight tweaks would make this so much better.
