- Ksar of Ait-Ben-Haddou - Upon arrival, you are to be introduced to your local tour guide. Have lunch in a restaurant of your choice. (please note that both of your tour guide and lunch are not included on today’s tour). Near the top of the Tizi-n-Tichka pass at 2260m there are great panoramic views over the mountains as well as the snaking N9 road.
This location dubbed a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, in the province of Ouarzazate, has been used as a back drop for several films and is a worthwhile stop for photo enthusiasts. Farther along is the Kasbah of Tawrirt. It absolutely gives a background on past movies produced in the area.
