Ait Ben Haddou - Next, the route continues south to the ksar (fortified village) of Ait Ben Haddou, where the famous Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1986, can be explored. This remarkable location has been the backdrop for renowned films such as Gladiator and Game of Thrones. There will be free time to enjoy lunch in the town.
Valley of the Roses -
Following lunch, the journey proceeds to Ouarzazate, also known as “The Gate of the Desert.” Here, the Taourirt kasbah, one of Morocco’s most impressive ksars, can be admired. The next destination is the Rose Valley, reached by driving through the expansive Skoura palm grove, a stunning area with over 700,000 palms and numerous kasbahs. In this valley, damascene roses are cultivated for cosmetic purposes, such as rosewater. The Rose Festival is celebrated here annually in May.
Dades Gorges - Finally, the journey reaches the Dades Valley, where the night will be spent. The hotel offers spectacular views of the valley and features a panoramic swimming pool.
Dadés Valley - Todra Gorges - Merzouga Dunes - Camel ride and night in a nomad tent
Dades Gorges - After breakfast, one of the most beautiful views of the Dades Valley can be enjoyed from a strategic lookout in the mountains, offering a view of numerous kasbahs. A well-maintained road leads up the valley from the city of Tinerhir and then to the desert.
Gargantas del Todra - After several stops along the way, the journey reaches the Todra Gorge, where the scenery is breathtaking. The rocky sides with varied surfaces make these gorges a favorite among rock climbers. Local residents live in the area, and their adobe villages can be seen.
Merzouga - A camel ride, lasting about an hour, will take us to a nomad camp situated in the middle of the Erg Chebbi dunes. Before dinner, the sunset can be enjoyed from the top of a dune, followed by a night spent in a tent under a stunning starry sky.
Merzouga – Khamlia – Ramlia – Tafrouate Sidi Ali
Merzouga - To fully appreciate the desert experience, it is recommended to wake up early to witness the magnificent sunrise over the Sahara dunes. After breakfast at the camp, the journey continues into the heart of the desert.

Tamegroute - A stop will be made to visit Tamegroute pottery, where beautiful traditional green ceramics have been crafted since the 17th century using the same methods.
Agdz - In the afternoon, arrival in Agdz is expected. With its endless palm groves and stunning earthen clay architecture, the fortified ksour village of Agdz is located on the historic caravan route connecting Marrakech to Timbuktu, playing a significant role for merchants transporting goods across the Sahara.
The evening will be spent in a charming lodge nestled in the palm groves, where dinner will be served.

Ella and Omar, hailing from the UK and Morocco, operate distinctive tours throughout Morocco. Itran Travel is a family-operated business inspired by their passion for Morocco and a commitment to sharing this stunning country with travelers eager to experience the authentic Morocco.
This journey will lead you to a lesser-known part of the Sahara, away from the typical tourist paths and camps, allowing you to explore areas of the desert where the nomadic lifestyle remains largely unchanged.
A highlight of the tour is spending a night under the stars in a completely isolated location, far from any camps or tourist spots, where you will enjoy a candlelit dinner and the serene silence of the desert.
A guide, who was raised in a semi-nomadic family herding animals across this desert region, will accompany you and share stories of this unique way of life.
