Amazing 😍 - The trip was absolutely amazing. Will definitely do it again. We were able to get the whole experience of travelling through Morocco. The company travelled as a group and we had a chance to meet new people and interact. The only downside was the AC was not working properly. So the heat was bad.

Fine for the money— but not great - Male, 30s, solo traveller. Overall, I wouldn’t say the tour was well organized and slightly janky. Don’t bother with the luxury pack— the drivers don’t know who has which pack. That was a waste of money. That aside, for 60$ a day, this is pretty good value. That being said, the actual trip was less a tour of Morocco, than a series of pit stops where you are expected to give people money. The kicker was getting off the camels are being forced to awkwardly wait for the guide to unwrap the truck stop tchotchkes and wait for us to buy them. You are constantly accosted by beggars and sellers by the side of the road. Be prepared: some are aggressive and do not take no for an answer. The organisation was not great. As a solo traveller— being paired with couples, tour groups and families was not ideal. Especially when there were other solo travellers on the trip! There was also very little communication. They say that this is a 15 ish person tour but in reality it is 150 people split across 10 small vans. I can’t really tell you what the logic is for the passengers on the vans— it didn’t seem to be linguistically based. The quality of the rooms they got us was decent. Though, I paid 10€ for an upgrade to a room with air conditioning. The beds across Morocco seem to be equally stiff as rocks. The cars were terrible. Very uncomfortable, cramped— the seats are often broken and I assume the shocks are shot…the seatbelts do not work nor the air conditioning. If you get car sick, or have back/neck pain I would strongly advise not going (or stock up On painkillers) The food quality varies: the tourist oriented truck stops seem to have good quality food— but the restaurants in the desert gave my whole tour food poisoning…twice. The drivers are just drivers— not guides. They are professional…ish— and they do not give clear explanations of the itinerary. I would bring a printed copy of the events and ask them to point out what is happening. Do not expect strong English. The experience varies: my first driver was quite religious— which meant we all had to listen to prayer whilst we were driving— which bothered some passengers, but I think elevated the experience. What was odd was that he listened exclusively to loud reggaeton when he wasn’t praying. He also appeared to pick up a friend at the Berber village who slept next to me for the rest of the drive. The experiences varied: the hi-lights for me were some of the smaller experiences. Good experiences: 1. Monkeys on day three. I bought some grapes at a stop and the macaques went ape for them. I was the only one who managed to get one to hop on my shoulder. This was excellent but tooooo short. 2. The gorge. This is spectacular. It was nice to walk along the water. Likewise our stay in the gorges was very nice and a quiet moment to breath on an otherwise restless trip. 3. The Berber village is stunning. It’s clear why it is a filming location. Bring water. Bring a hat. Also note you do not have to eat at the restaurant— they kinda heard us over there but it’s not mandatory. Not great: 1. The tents at Margouza— the most uncomfortable I’ve ever been. The tents obviously do not filter out noise and people party well into the night. 2. The camel rides are only 30 minutes and it’s basically a pony ride through the first 500m of the desert. So yah… good but not great. For 50$ a day— decent quality — but a bit janky overall.

Disorganised! They wasted our time and money - Can’t recommend this tour! If you want to ride camels then just get to Merzouga somehow and book a camel ride, but don’t do a tour with any of the companies, it’s a rip off. The best thing about this tour was the camel ride in the Sahara. The worst thing was that it was so disorganised, the days were extremely long, there was no information or communication, we paid a lot of money, and we arrived late in the desert and had to ride camels in the dark. We arrived late because the drivers and guides take you to sites for far too long and pressure you into buying things from the locals, so it’s kind of facilitating the scams in a way. Three girls on our bus of about 15 got very sick as well, which was because the driving was crazy and the food may not have been safe. The food at the restaurants is often covered with flies and you should avoid the meat, just stick with vegetarian tagines or couscous. All of us really just wanted to ride camels and see the Sahara, but because the other sites took way too long we got to the desert in the dark and then arrived at our camp 1.5 hours after schedule. It was so disappointing and we were so sad and frustrated by this. We flew 24 hours from Australia and feel very ripped off. We were promised sand boarding as well, but that never happened and wouldn’t have been possible in the dark anyway. If we had arrived on schedule then this review would have been a lot more positive, but it was just such a let down. The hotels you stay in are very questionable and for some reason the tour company drops the entire bus load off at all different hotels, so we didn’t stay with the rest of our group, it was bizarre and again we were not given any information as to why. Our driver on day one didn’t really introduce himself to the group and really only spent time with two Italian girls who were very inconsiderate of everyone else, constantly blasting their loud music even after several people had asked them to turn it down. Our driver on the second day was a different person and he was amazing, he was so kind and helpful, and he really took care of us. He showed us monkeys and dropped us at our hotel.

Jackals, tours to the limit of safety. - Vacation ruined because of this tour. The tour was not maximum 17 people, as indicated, and as specified following a phone call from me; we left in a whole coach! Asked for explanations we were told that traveling in 17 or 60 is the same. Following a refund request we were moved to a van of 17 people, which was however operated by another agency. But the inconveniences are not over: stages not respected, tourists taken in words and threatened to stay on foot, tour manager who called me insistently and wrote me messages "I know you have connection", forcing me to cancel my refund request (operation impossible on Trip Advisor from abroad) or would have left us without a driver. The only "compromise" not to be abandoned literally in the middle of nowhere, in the evening at 21.00, was, on the spot, put 5 stars on Trip Advisor. Tour in the overcrowded desert, camels not enough for everyone and therefore first stop to the tent by jeep. Staff who were rude or claiming that aunt agencies had taken reservations over capacity and that even they were not figuring out how to party guests. Waking up in the desert seemed to be on the highway, from the noise of quods and jeeps. We continued towards Fez with a car, with a driver who did not speak a word and drove like crazy to his destination. To the phrase "go slow", he replied "sleep that Allah, protects you". We were 4 adults, used to travel and really easygoing, but we lived 3 days in stress, and at the limit of safety. Jackals! SOME POSITIVE NOTES go to local guides and a manager of another agency who helped us mediate with ours.
