Marrakech / Ait Ben Haddou / Ouarzazate / Gorges
Tizi n Tichka - The journey will take us through the High Atlas via the Tizi-n-Tichka pass, along a road that ascends from the plains to 2260 meters above sea level. This route passes through charming villages, small waterfalls, and a landscape that continuously changes in color and beauty. A stop at the pass for a refreshing cup of mint tea and to admire the scenery is a must before continuing.
Ait Ben Haddou - Arriving at Ait Benhaddou Kasbah in time for lunch, visitors can explore this famous Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site and the backdrop for films such as The Gladiator, Babel, Lawrence of Arabia, The Legionary, The Sheltering Sky, and many others.
Dades Gorges - The journey continues through Ouarzazate, the renowned Valley of Roses, and the Dades Valley, reaching the Dades Gorge in time for sunset. Here, guests will stay in a traditional and romantic hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Gorges / Erfoud / Merzouga “Erg-Chebbi”
Rissani - Traveling through Tineghier village and the Jewish Kasbah, the group will arrive at Rissani in time for lunch. A walk in Rissani offers the chance to explore the large market and Kasbahs, providing insight into the local architecture and culture.
Merzouga - Arriving at Merzouga before sunset, the group will leave their car at a hotel and embark on a camel ride into the Erg Chebbi Dunes. This promises an incredible and unforgettable night in a Berber tent, with dinner under a sky filled with stars.
Merzouga / Rissani / Ziz Oasis / Medilt / Fez
Azrou Cedar Forest - The next morning, the camel guide will wake everyone in time to witness the sunrise over the 300-meter-high dunes. The journey then continues towards the Algerian border before returning by camel to the hotel for breakfast and a shower. Departing towards Fez, the route passes through Rissani, the first capital of the Alaouite dynasty, and continues through the Ziz Valley. Lunch will be enjoyed in an apple village along the way. The trip proceeds through the mountains and cedar forests, reaching Fez in the afternoon, marking the end of the journey. There will be opportunities to stop at panoramic viewpoints for photographs.
