Fun and informative! - The tour was excellent. Our guide Lee was very knowledgable and presented the history of Canada and Ottawa in a colourful and fun way, with facts and anecdotes, which you will not find in a typical tour guide book. The route and the level of detail were appropriate. I took the tour on my third day in Ottawa, and in these three hours I learned more and had more fun than in the previous three days. Highly recommended!

Ottawa is a Great City to Visit! - I had a great trip to Ottawa both to see a performance of one of my contemporary dance creations and to visit with my daughter. Ottawa is lovely - friendly, walkable with lots of great restaurants, coffee shops and pubs. The scenery is beautiful along the river and the canal and there are many super options for history, art and culture. The museums, the National Gallery and of course Parliament. Go!

Informative and Interesting Tour! - Joined an English tour that was international. I had signed up solo as it was my first visit to family that had moved to the area as well as my first visit to Ottawa. I was the only English speaking Canadian on the tour. Lee, our guide, did an excellent job communicating information about the history of the area and the relevance of what he was sharing with us in relationship to Canadian History. He also made sure to check in with participants regarding their comfort and safety in busy areas. He made sure to ask at each stop if there were questions, and answered all respectfully. I would recommend this activity!

Ottawa has surprised us - Niurkis has been our guide. A very interesting visit, full of anecdotes and information. You can tell that she is a professional who likes to know the history and research about the city she teaches.

Please don't set the amount of tip. - At the very beginning, the tour guide asked us to give tip at the end. 25$ if it wasn't to good, 35$ for average and more than 40$ if very good (something like that). Never have I seen that before ( 2weeks in Europe last ocober with multiple tours). We where a bit upset by that. I felt bad that a canadian tour imposes the rates of tipping like that. (We where only 2 canadians with 18 out of country tourists). The walking tour itself was good but couldn't hear the information well.

Better Walk to your than Drive - the experience was good, lots of walking good it was not a hot or cold day, the tour guide was very knowledgeable, I just felt we didn't do much about Byward Market, I guess we ran out of time.
