A safety briefing on land and a paddling demonstration are conducted before launching. Each rental includes a paddle and a PFD (life jacket). Wearing life jackets is mandatory, and they are provided for all participants.

Dogs under 40 pounds can ride comfortably on a pad between the two paddlers, while larger dogs can sit as the second passenger.
