• NORTHLY / Cafe + Bar TonoBacca - We offer a 30-minute pottery wheel experience course typically every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday and Sunday. After your pottery session, please relax with a drink of your choice at our café. While there will be additional charges, alcoholic beverages and sweets are also available for order.

Even if you’re new to pottery, rest assured as our instructor, who has over 30 years of experience teaching pottery in Canada, will provide guidance in both English and Japanese.

Rest assured, even if it’s your first time. Our staff will guide you throughout the process. Feel free to make as many pieces as you want. At the end of the session, you’ll be asked to select one piece.

You can choose from four types of original glaze for your creation. Our studio staff will trim the bottom and apply the glaze to the selected piece. Please allow about one month for delivery (shipping fees not included).

After the pottery session, relax at our cafe, Tonobacca. You can choose one drink from our original menu (excluding bottled wines, additional 250 yen for alcoholic beverages).

Working on clay is akin to performing a musical piece. The sound dissipates before you grasp it. We present half-hour informal sessions for individuals seeking to dabble in pottery without any stress. Prior knowledge isn’t required!

Following a brief intro, you’ll enjoy a delightful, straightforward, and relaxing opportunity to unleash your creativity. You’ll mould your creation with clay and select from a dozen of Hidenori’s unique glaze options.
