With the mochi, they will create strawberry Daifuku (using other fruits like Pineapple, Kiwi, etc., when strawberries are out of season), various flavored Dango (mochi balls on skewers), Warabi-mochi, and Isobe-mochi. (The mochi-ice cream recipe is also included.)
After the lesson, participants can enjoy their creations (including mochi-ice cream) with Japanese green tea or Hojicha (roasted green tea), or take them home in a special box.
In addition to making Mochi and Wagashi, the class will also cover the history of Mochi and teach various ways to enjoy it.
The recipes are simple and easy, allowing participants to recreate them for family and friends after returning home. Ingredients are readily available in most countries and are plant-based, making this class suitable for vegetarians as well.
Participants will receive a Japanese gift as a souvenir.
During the off-peak season, if a booking group consists of more than 3 people, the lesson will be private at no additional cost.
