Oslo Coast Cruise - This is a 1hr 30min cruise around the shoreline of Oslo. You don’t see any Fjords as such (the definition of which is a narrow stretch of water flanked by high peaking terrain) but the area is referred to as the Oslofjord. It’s mostly flat but it was still a nice way to see different parts of the city. It starts in Langkaia, central Oslo and then sails quietly out from the harbor, giving you great views of the city. You sail past historical sites such as Akershus Fortress and Tjuvholmen, but also more modern and contemporary sights like the Opera House, The Munch museum, and the Barcode district. Sailing out of the Oslofjord, you pass Bygdøy & the Fram Museum. In Bygdøy you will find world-class cultural relics as well as Norwegian houses built an entire millennium ago (they say). You get time to enjoy the beautiful landscape of islands, islets, and picturesque lighthouses from the boat's spacious viewing deck or from inside its floor to ceiling windows and luxury seating. There is a bar onboard with reasonable prices and which sells snacks like Hot Dogs. There was a private event in our cruise so the whole inner top deck was out of bounds however the cruise at 1430 was not full and so we had lots of space and were the only people on deck at times. The staff were all brilliant and we really enjoyed our cruise. Especially the silence of it all being fully electric.

Nice ride around Oslo - The board is very quiet, nice ride around Oslo. When the weather is good, it is very beautiful to see the city, harbor and neighborhood of Oslo on a boat trip

Oslo in 5 days - Very nice and relaxing tour , we are glad we did the one as there is many to choose. You have the ability to be indoors with comfortable seating or outdoors to enjoy the weather. And as Canadians we recommend the Nordic Pilsner for your journey :).

Discover the sights of Oslo from the water. - It was a nice way to see the sights of Oslo from a different perspective. The ship is bright and friendly, you feel right at home. The staff was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, we had difficulties with the audio guide's automatic start and had to select the individual points ourselves. Otherwise everything was good and we definitely recommend the ride.

Enjoyable - Even being told there was a problem before we left (they didn’t have water for the toilets or coffee) we elected to go ahead and go. We weren’t disappointed. It helped we had a beautiful day - perhaps one of the last sunny days in Norway for awhile, or so we were told. The audio tour was easy to download and even if you didn’t do that the tv screens gave you the same tidbits about what you were seeing. Oslo from the fjord is worth the price of admission for this 1.5 hour cruise.

AVOID. - There was NO tour. We believe this was a scam. The area indicated within a huge area had no parking anywhere or a place to dock a boat. Viator needs to do some research before adding a non existant tour company. We lost the money, Viator did not respond when we told them.
