Vulkan
Meet your guide at Mathallen Food Hall’s main courtyard entrance (Vulkan 5). Look for the red brick building with “1908” above “MATHALLEN OSLO.” This entrance faces the open square near Dansens Hus. Do not go to the river bridge side with “Mathallen” in red letters — that’s the wrong entrance.

Good tour, good food, good company - Good tour, good food, good guide :) It's a mix of a food and walking/culture tour, in a less touristy area in Oslo. Not the cheapest, but definitely enjoyable and our guide was so patient with us asking a million questions :)

A Delicious and Insightful Walk through Oslo with Andreas & Erika! - We absolutely loved the Grünerløkka Food & Culture Walking Tour! Our guides Andreas and Erika were not only incredibly knowledgeable but also warm, funny, and truly passionate about Oslo’s history and culinary culture. They brought the vibrant neighborhood of Grünerløkka to life with their stories and personal insights. From tasting delicious local treats to discovering hidden gems and street art, every stop was a surprise. The balance between food, culture, and history was perfect. Andreas and Erika made everyone feel welcome, answered all our questions, and created a great group atmosphere. No need to eat dinner. - Our planned food tour of Oslo was canceled by the tour operator due to congestion in the city. We found this tour as a substitute and we were not disappointed. Ingrid was a very informative guide with great insight into the Grünerløkka district. The many food varieties Norwegian wild game charcuterie, wild game stew, hot and cold chocolate with cinnamon roll and finally Norwegian waffles were tasty and satisfying. No need to eat dinner.
