➤ Learn and Practice Holding the Brush and Using the Tools
➤ Kanji
Select a favorite Japanese kanji to challenge oneself. Kanji, known as “the most difficult language to learn,” carries various meanings for each character.

➤ Learn and Practice Techniques
Brush Movement—Brush Technique
The most basic brush movements: “tome,” “hane,” and “harai.”
Activity 4
➤ Kanji Practice
Participants will learn the stroke order of the kanji they selected earlier.

➤ Surprise
The instructor will write the participants’ foreign names on wooden tags using the kanji characters they have chosen.

➤ Final Draft
Create a final draft while considering all that has been learned so far.
