Brilliant tour of Osaka food markets - What a wonderful introduction to Osaka. Thomas was knowledgeable, passionate and enthusiastic about Japan and the markets and food of Osaka. We toured a range of food markets from local, Korean and more touristy markets. Thomas went out of his way to tailor our adventure for our children who were interested in moochi and gaming!!

Osaka's Food Markets Walking Tour - An amazing walking tour. Not quit as anticipated. But this made it better. Full of great information and history. A lot packed within four hours.

A great way to see Osaka - We loved learning about the culture of Osaka through the visit of markets. We would definitely recommend this to all. Beware - you will be doing a lot of walking - but it's worth it.

Top Notch Knowledge - This was an excellent tour. My partner and I learned so much about food culture and history in Osaka. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgable. He was able to expertly answer the many questions we asked him. I don't understand some of the more negative reviews of this not being a food tour: it is what you make of it. At any point you can stop and purchase food at any of the markets you're in. I certainly did.

Off the beaten track view... - Off the beaten track view of food shopping in Osaka. From the discount to the ridiculously extravagent. Neighborhoods (like koreatown) you'd never see on your own. Food shopping off the tourist track.

A food lover's delight - Kevin was a fantastic guide, taking us to places we would never have found ourselves. All based around food - markets, street food, supermarkets - with plenty of history and local knowledge too. Thanks!

I'd recommend. Just lower expectations. - This tour was tough to rate because we were shown a lot of very cool places. Tour guide was cool. He showed us a lot.....BUT with no map or markers or names of the places.....we have no idea where we went. The tour doesn't show us either. The ending was disappointing. It was like ok it's over bye. I think maybe a ending with a beer somewhere or a restaurant would been nice. Or at least a map or recommendations for places to eat. Anyway we figured out on our own after. I would recommend, but don't expect any food at the end.
