This magnificent 3.6 km sandbar is lined with 8,000 pine trees and bordered by the tranquil Japan Sea and Amanohashidate Bay. The name “Amanohashidate” translates to Heaven’s Bridge, and the stunning landscape will show you why.
Be sure to take the cable car up Mt. Monju for an incredible view from the observation deck (optional, cost 1000 JPY).
