Great for small group, couples! - The 4 of us really enjoyed the hour or so at the Cantina and the aperitif and white and red wine tasting! The tour was very interesting, but a fair amount of stairs.

It's worth getting to know the city's history - Beautiful experience, very fascinating story told by a very prepared and friendly guide. Worth the detour.

Underground Cave Tour - Wonderful experience in the Duomo piazza where we tasted delicious Orvieto white wine accompanied by bruschetta with meats, cheeses and pate. When we participated in the underground cave tour we viewed 2 caves and learned of the use of the caves over the years from storage to raising pigeons.

Simple and interesting - Great experience, especially lunch at Cantina Foresi!!! The owner Alessandro is prepared, kind, caring but never intrusive. And the underground cellar, open to visitors, a pearl.

Meh - It was just ok. The wine and appetizers were fine. The tour was only about 45 mins. I would Just buy the tour directly from the Duomo.

There was some confusion... - There was some confusion on where they wanted us to be. We really didn’t get our money’s worth and should have just booked our 8 euro tickets to the underground which was very good.

Interesting cave tour - The caves were very interesting and the guide quite knowledgeable. Getting the actual tickets and meeting point we’re quite confusing. We went to the redemption and netting point and we’re sent elsewhere close by. That ticket office had my name but different time as I had rebooked for an hour earlier. (Two weeks prior). They then indicated my tour was cancelled but called the office to find the updated information. There was no mention of the aperitif and the guide was unaware as she was just for the cave tour. In the end we saw what we wanted to see but it was stressful getting the actual tickets and frustrating with a lot of unorganized information. The caves were quite a sight and truly fascinating.

Not as described - The tour was good but there were 2 issues. First. Getting the voucher was complicated and confusing. Second, the aperitif was not as advertised. Only one wine was offered, not pasta course, and no wine cave tour at all. There was a small charcuterie in the courtyard in front of the cathedral, but to find the location we had to ask an employee of another business.

Not a great experience at all - Didn’t rate this as a great experience, we had to go and collect our tickets for the underground caves which were €8 each, and it was a general group tour which we could have booked ourselves. The wine tasting was average and not a lot of explanation about the wines (a white and a red).

Teasing the tourist by 2 mini caves - Too much history for them to only open 2 caves that you can see in 5 minutes with a very long explanation to keep you standing in the same place. The truth is it's not worth it, it would be worth it if the place had a longer route or they didn't charge a fee. Just as it feels like teasing the tourist
