Fantastic small group bike tour - Pablo was an excellent tour guide with a vast knowledge of the local Orvieto and Civita area. We had a small group of only 4 people which made it much more enjoyable.

Fantastic! - We are very glad that we booked this. Our guide (owner) was very friendly and informative of the history of the region. He welcomed any and all questions. We loved the eBikes. Our picturesque ride through the countryside culminated in a visit to Civita, the city on the hill. Unique and amazing. Lunch at the end was very good. Highly recommend this.

A Perfect Day! - The entire day was wonderful! Our group was me and my husband (in our 60’s) and our daughter and her girlfriend (30/31 years old) Our guide was Paolo who was very fun and interesting and laid back. We met him at the train station where there was free parking for our rental car. He and his wife drove us to a beautiful monastery overlooking Orvieto for a brief stop. Then we met Paolo in the countryside where we started the bike ride. The e-bikes were high quality, made by Trek and the helmets were good. I am short but the bike was easy for me to handle. The ride through the vineyards and fields of poppies was fantastic. The views were beautiful and there was almost no traffic. Then we got to a small town where we stopped for the view and a chance to use a bathroom. Then back on the bikes to the base of the bridge to Civita. We parked the bikes and walked up the bridge to Civita. We walked around Civita and went into the church. Very nice. Back on the bikes we took a different way back. At a crossroads, Paolo gave us an option of riding 45 minutes to Orvieto or 10 minutes back to the van. My companions chose the 10 minute ride. I would have loved the longer ride. (There were some steep hills on our ride but with the electric assist they were easy. The bikes allow the rider to choose no assist or among 4 levels of assistance. For the hills I chose “Turbo” and zoomed right up!) So we rode back to the van and Paolo drove us right up to the Duomo where we had lunch at a cafe right next to the Duomo. Lunch was very good and we had a nice bottle of white wine, all included in the tour price. All 4 of us in our group absolutely loved the experience and I was a star for having booked it.

Best bike ride ever! - Pablo couldn't possibly be a better tour guide. My entire family enjoyed the experience and learned so much. He is wonderful with kids and his language skills are so impressive. Civica and Orvieto are wonderful towns. The best way to get around the countryside and take in its beauty was with the ebikes. We felt safe and cared for the entire time.

Pleasant bike ride - Very nice region for cycling and afterwards fine meal offered. The cycling may be something more. The guide knew the region well and was allowed to tell us more.

see beautiful Umbria by bike - Lots of fun. Enjoyed the beautiful countryside, feeding the donkey, touring Civita and the delicious lunch. Had a great day despite some problems with the bike. I would encourage the bike owners to invest in reliable newer bikes. Then this tour would be a definite 5 stars.

Great tour BUT… - The views were AMAZING!!! Civita was one of the most beautiful places I’ve been! There’s also little shops there, so bring your money! So about the tour itself, I’ll give pros and cons… Pros: Ricardo was prompt in arrival and spoke English very well (if that’s your native language). He was knowledgeable about the history of the places we stopped. The views were amazing and the luncheon after was great! Ours was right next to the Duomo. Cons: Of our 6 bikes, 3 kept breaking down. We had to stop MULTIPLE times (probably added up to 1.5 hours of our trip). 2 of the bikes had to be picked up and the tourist had to ride in the van the rest of the way! The walk up the bridge to Civita is NOT easy! If you struggle with incline walking, this is not for you! It’s probably a 40 degree incline! Parts of the bike ride were tricky for some in our group, even using the E Bike. Tourists should be in rather good shape with experience riding mountain bikes and walking long distances. Overall, I’d do it again in a heartbeat and recommend it to others! I hope the owners fix the bikes and keep them maintained for future guests.
