Must-do tour! - We saw the most wildlife in this tour, thanks to our fantastic tour guide, Arturo, who spotted things we would not have noticed. He is very knowledgeable about the animals and plants of this area. Learned lots of interesteding facts. This is a not-to-miss tour when visiting the area. I am so glad that we booked with Arturo of Jabiru tours and learned this is a family-run small business!

Wonderful tour - We really enjoyed the tour. Arturo and his colleagues at Osprey Tours were attentive and entertaining.
We arrived on our own by car and encountered a closed bridge on the way, which made us 30 minutes late, but they were able to accommodate us. On the tour we saw lots of animals, including crocodiles, monkeys, birds and lizards.
After the tour we were offered a simple but delicious traditional meal for lunch, back at Osprey Tours base.

Jabiru Tours Palo Verde - The trip was amazing saw lots of wild life. Our captain was very knowledgeable and made the trip worth the drive to get there. I would recommend this trip.

OH WOW - great experience, great guide! - Fantastic boat tour along the Tempisque River / Palo Verde National Park. Andrés was our guide, passionate, pleasant and knowledgeable and when he saw our interest level he just opened up. We set the tour up direct from Jabiru Tours’ web site as a “Walk in," thus avoiding an expensive pick up (we drove ourselves on rural dirt roads to the tiny town of Ortega, where we met Andres and he led us on his motorcycle through a maze of back roads to the dock on the river) There was great wildlife watching including crocodiles, monkeys and many kinds of water birds. Andrés really went out of his way to make this trip awesome - I’m sworn to secrecy about the very awesome bird he found for us, but…it was awesome. Andrés and his brother have lived there all their lives, and started the company to share their love of nature. It shows!

A genuine Costa Rican experience! - What a perfect day in Costa Rica!!
We had our own car so met at the Palo Verde location in Bolson. Super easy to find!
We started our tour with the pottery demonstration. It was really interesting! It is a family business/tradition and the materials are sourced from different areas in CR. The pieces that they make are beautiful!
We then headed to the river! We saw so many birds, iguanas, monkeys and crocodiles. It was fabulous!!
We went back to the house for lunch.
It was delicious!! Comida topica!
I would definitely add the lunch to the boat trip.
Everyone was so happy to share their country, language and traditions with us. Lovely authentic people!

This adventure was... - This adventure was exactly what my wife and I were looking for. The drive in was guided by a motorbike and we had to maneuver through a small herd of cows(cool experience)
We got very lucky and had a boat to ourselves and saw so many beautiful birds, crocodiles and monkeys. We were on the boat for well over an hour and got the best views with only the 2 of us and the boat guide. When we docked, we were taken for a traditional Costa Rican breakfast and it was absolutely delicious.
We would highly recommend using Jabiru tours

Don't use Google maps to... - Don't use Google maps to find the meeting place. It sent us to the wrong location. We were an hour late to our tour, but they still accommodated us. Once on the tour, we had a fantastic time.

Fantastic tour! - It was a great tour! We saw a lot of HUGE crocodiles and some monkeys! Lots of beautiful birds also! Jose was a great tour guide! He is very knowledgeable. We had a great time! Thanks!

What a wonderful tour! - If I could give this tour more stars I would! Arturo and his brother were so knowledgeable and fun! They showed us all that we wanted to see and more; monkeys were at the top of the list and they did not disappoint! After our trip was over, Arturo took us to an eco farm and we had a delicious authentic Costa Rican lunch. Our family had a wonderful time and would gladly go on this tour again!

Palo Verde Boat Trip - The river boat trip was great and we saw lots of crocodiles and birds. Other animals too. The tour booking said water, lunch included but we actually got the boat trip and nothing else.
