Great trip - We really enjoyed the volcano and the boat ride over. There was a snack bar for food and drinks. The guide was great and very informative.

Loved it - Loved the volcano hike; lovely to cool off in the “hot springs” (barely warm lol) afterwards. Highly recommend

Volcano and a natural hot tub - a great pair! - This was a wonderful experience. Starting the tour with an exploration of Nea Kemini gave a phenomenal panoramic view from the center of the caldera. We learned some background information about the destruction of Akrotiri and what would happen if the volcano were to violently explode again. After that, we had a wonderful swim in the water and the thermals. One tip for others - you have to jump off the boat into deep waters and swim at least 50 meters each way to and from the boat in moving waves. They had pool noodles for anyone who wanted to use them. Definitely be aware of your swimming strength!

Half day trip - Perfect for doing a half day trip and still see much of the volcanos. Left with a lot of info and views but in short time. Thanks!

A Great experience - amazing views of the Caldera. - Amazing views of the caldera and cliff top houses from the boat journey and volcano itself. The order of our trip changed starting with the hot springs swim and then onto the volcano. History of Volcano’s eruptions and islands evolution is provided. Take a towel and wear your swim clothes ready for the plunge (or steps) into the sea. Only limited changing areas on board, but drinks available to buy on the boat. A few places of shelter on the island but intensely hot in summer. Wear trainers as path is mainly small rocks and stones. Very good value for money. 5 Euros each for volcano entrance.

Not worth it - The springs were great but the volcano was a no-go because it was so hot. The check in process was a disorganized mess. I went to “exchange” my tickets at the office 30 minutes early and the lady told me I was fine and didn’t need to but then after waiting in line to get on the boat the guy said I had to go get tickets and of course then the lady gave me a sheet of paper to have him scan but then a million other people had boarded and we had to wait for the next boat.

Not Worth it! Save your money! - In a nutshell, better watch the volcano from Santorini and save your money...
First, a boat took us to one of the volcano islands. Although the tour was not cheap, they still made us pay 5 euros each to go up the volcano top. They could have included that in their price...
Then we had to hike for what seemed liked an eternal amount of time in the roasting sun to reach the top, where we were wondering where the crater was since you just see the top of a hill and a mini valley which seemed to have been the crater, but no one from the tour thought it necessary to come and explain anything...
Then we went down again in the sun and back on the boat to go to the second island where there are hot springs.
First, and although they had stairs, they made us jump from the boat (what would old people and toddlers do?) with floating noodles thankfully, then swim around 40m to reach the hot spring location, which was an ok experience but not like the bubbling thing you would imagine, just hotter water. However, get with you black swimsuits because the sulfur stains and takes a lot of time to be removed from swimming suits! And they only tell you this the night before in an email when you dont even have time to buy a dark swimsuit for the next day!
Back on the boat using stairs (which miraculously appeared) and then back to santorini, burnt and disappointed from a day lost that you could have done something else with or chilled at some beach...

Can you save yourself - Pure mass event. The boat only takes you to the volcano. Access to the volcano must be paid extra.
The climb to the highest point is via a scree path, so bring good shoes and water/sun protection, because there is hardly any shade on the way.
The guide has hardly really explained anything. He was more there to drive the group (about 60 people) up and down once.
What I noticed very negatively was that he even encouraged tourists to take stones/lumps of sulphur as souvenirs! A "professional" guide should never do such a thing!
After the hike on the volcano we went to the "hot springs".
Handwarm is more likely to hit...
You had to jump off the boat into the water and swim a short distance to the shore to see the bubbles. It wasn't 30 minutes. More like 15min. Swim once and back.
If you haven't experienced it, you haven't missed much either.

Don't waste time or money - If you are only in Santorini a day. Don't waste your time. You can barely get in water maybe 20 minutes. Volcano isn't that cool more like a hill and it is extremely hot.

Bof - Excursion, volcano , warm waters and Thirassia , the volcano is not only paying (5€ per person on top of the excursion Award)
We walk in the mountains at the peak of the sun , we just have time to go up and down , the volcano itself has no interest but I admit that the view from the summit and spectacular!
