Very good experience... - Very good experience seeing Manatees. Explained seeing different wildlife in the trees and side of water. Got to see one or two manatees even on a cloudy day. Instructor helped when others were having issues kayaking and got along with the group. Would recommend to go!

An amazing experiece! - We saw wild bald eagles and crocodiles as well as manatees. It was my best experience in Florida! We took an Uber to the meeting point. I was late at the wrong meeting point, but they were waiting for me. Thank you very much! The meeting point is not in the national park or at the entrance, but at the end of the street where the entrance is located (i.e., make sure you get past the entrance to the park to the end of the street)!

Awesome Trip - I had an awesome time seeing all the wildlife and I had a wonderful guide. We saw plenty of manatees. We got to see alligators, waterfowl, etc. If the have it you can almost surely see it. This was the highlight of our trip

Orlando Manatee Encounters was a great tour! Highly recommend! - TripAdvisor NOT!!! The tour was great! Jeff was able to show us an incredible amount of wildlife, a tagged manatee, a non-tagged manatee, lots of bird species, turtles, and lots of alligators(a huge one)! Jeff was super knowledgeable and wanted us to have a great tour. And kudos to Greg, the owner, for taking care of the HUGE TripAdvisor mistake! We thought we were booking directly with Orlando Manatee Encounters not TripAdvisors. TripAdvisor booked us on a Monday afternoon for a Wednesday tour. We drove 45 minutes on Wednesday to where our tour was to begin. No one showed up! The only phone number on the booking was the owner of Orlando Manatee Encounters, NOT TripAdvisor's number. Greg, the owner, gave us TripAdvisor's number. TripAdvisor's representative said it was canceled on Tuesday and had sent us an email. We did NOT get the email! Nor could TripAdvisor produce and send us the copy of cancelation email! We were on the line with TripAdvisor's representative for 45 minutes trying to get a refund! Finally after asking for a supervisor, we were told that we would receive a refund in 5-7 days. Not acceptable! It took us another 20 minutes for TripAdvisor's representative to give us a confirmation that a refund was going to happen. What a mess and a waste of one of our vacation days dealing with this! Make sure you are NOT booking through TripAdvisor or a third party. Book directly through Orlando Manatee Encounters with Greg. Jeff and Greg, thank you very much for a great tour! Your tour was much more than we expected!!!

Great encounter with Manatees, and a fun kayak experience - My son and I had a great experience, guided by Jeff. We had a private tour since a group of 5 cancelled. Jeff sent us a text the night before with some questions on our paddling experience and advice on driving directions. My GPS was able to take us to French Landing (past the state park entry) so we arrived early. There are no bathrooms at French Landing so use the trees there or go to a gas station in Orange before your drive down to the landing. The manatees encounter was better than expected. Some came right up to our boats! We went off to a quiet area of paddling and came back to see manatees again. We had a full 2 hours in the boats. I did not get wet except for some drops from the paddle blades. The park ranger was very helpful when we departed as the road was full of cars queuing up to enter the state park. Kudos to Jeff.

Excellent trip!!! - What a great adventure!! The weather wasn't always on our side, but Jeff, our guide, was excellent and made the trip well worth it. We saw manatees, gators, and loads of different birds.

Best Manatee Enounter!!! - We had a wonderful time on our kayaking tour!!! Me and my dad had a great time with our tour guide Jeff! Thanks Jeff so much for making our tour guide so personal. Our close encounter with the manatee’s and being able to see gators in the wild is something we will always remember! We highly recommend this tour!!!

Wonderful experience - We saw so many manatees on our tour! It was super enjoyable and our guide was well informed, super pleasant and fun. Make sure to wear a hat and sunscreen. It’s super hot - and the sun is unrelenting. I wore lightweight hiking pants and large brimmed hat. Glad I did! Took my 16 year old son - and it was a nice break from city of Orlando.

BEWARE THEY WILL CANCEL ON YOU AND LEAVE YOU STRANDED!!!!!! - I urge you to find another company to guide you. We filled out our waivers and had an uber drop myself and my 3 friends off where the directions said. We got there a little earlier than we were supposed to. We waited and waited and no one showed up, so we called Greg to see what was going on and it was then he informed us that he had cancelled on us yet he DID NOT LET US KNOW. He swore he sent notices of canceling yet we received none, not even a phone call to follow up. He left us stranded a mile away from anyone or anywhere. So we walked up to the state park where the park ranger informed us they have been HAVING A LOT OF ISSUES WITH THIS company ABANDONING people out there and canceling without notice. A family the weekend before had also been stranded according to the park ranger. It was handled very unprofessionally by Greg who couldn't even follow up with an actual confirmation of the cancelation. We are from out of state and like the ranger said this company has an obligation to not be stranding people out there like he did and yet there we were. I would suggest finding any other company but this one to use. From the sounds of it they are getting very close to not being able to operate out of the area due to their failure to properly operate their company or communicating with the parks and guests. 0 OUT OF 10
