Calin's tour was a huge success and great value. - We usually go on a "free" walking tour when we arrive in a new city. We were lucky that none was available on the days we were in Oradea because, as a result, we went on Calin's Food, Wine And Sightseeing Tour, which was fantastic value. Calin knows and loves Oradea and his enthusiasm for his city was infectious. We were given so much delicious food that we could not eat any dinner. We even enjoyed the tripe soup, which was the first time we had tasted tripe. Fantastic value!

Don't miss this experience - We were a group of four with different dietary restrictions, and our guide was incredibly attentive, making sure each of us received tastings that matched our individual needs. It was clear that he genuinely cared about creating a great experience for everyone.
The tour was rich with content—not only did we enjoy delicious food and wine, but we also learned a lot about Oradea’s fascinating history and architecture. The guide's knowledge and passion really added depth to the experience.
We also received fantastic recommendations for the rest of our trip, which proved very useful. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Oradea—especially at the beginning of your stay so you can take full advantage of the great tips and places shared during the tour.

Only one word: AMAZING! - I made a trip with my best friend to Oradea where he was born 50 years ago. To get a better understanding about the culture, history and culinaric in Oradea, I booked this tour for us. And what can I say. It was absolutely awsome. Calin, our tour guide, awaited us at the arranged meeting point in downtown of Oradea. His English is perfeclty fluent so you can easily understand him. Before we headed to the first restaurant, he asked us, in what we're interested in. Culture, history or culinaric. We decided to take a mix of everything. His knowledge is very broad and while we were enjoying our food at really good traditional restaurants he gave us a lot of insights about the country, the city and the food.
To wrap it up:

- Amazing food in different restaurants
- Insights to history, cuture and culinaric
- Information about locations to visit and not to visit
To be aware of:
- COME HUNGRY!!!! A lot of food

PS: If you would stay at the restaurants and order that much food and wine, you'd probably pay more then for the tour. So it's defenetely worth it!

Try a unique experience! - We had a unique experience. Our guide showed professionalism. The eyes were delighted by the art nouveau buildings, the ears by the history of the city and the taste buds by the delicious Romanian and Hungarian dishes. I would repeat this experience anytime. It's worth trying, you won't regret it!

Wine, food and history - Calin is an excellent tour guide. He takes his time to share his historical knowledge, and by explaining the differences between traditional Romanian and Hungarian foods. The special plates are prepared up front, so no waiting. Nice to learn about the local wine history and even better to taste the differences. If you’re in Oradea, this is a must see.

He sparked our visit in Oradea - It was the best culinary experience we had. Also, to be honest, Oradea cooks excellently. I had the best "ciorba de burta" in my life.
Calin is a fantastic man with a super positive and happy vibe. He took us from history, art, and demographics to today's life in Oradea. 100% recommend

Fantastic Authentic Experience - We recently did a walking food tour in Odea, and it was truly an amazing experience! Our guide Calin took great care in selecting each restaurant, ensuring we had an authentic taste of the local cuisine. Each stop felt thoughtfully chosen, showcasing food that locals genuinely enjoy.
Calin was incredibly gracious and made us feel welcome throughout the tour. The pacing was perfect—just the right amount of walking between tastings, allowing us to enjoy each dish without feeling rushed. While the focus was definitely on the food, he also shared interesting bits of history that enriched the experience.
I highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to explore Odea’s food scene in a relaxed, authentic way!

Perfect tour for food, wine, culture and history - We found an interesting sounding food tour in Oradea and booked right away. The communication was perfect within few hours and we met in the city at the 4 Palast. Quick introduction of the tour and a detailed description of building, history and culture of Brasov and Transylvania. 2 very nice Restaurant with good food traditionally and fency (fried). All with white, rose and red local wines. The end at a very nice coffee at the fortress of Oradea.
For every body being interested to get a quick intensive few how people are living in Transylvania, what they eat and drink as well what there culture is, a perfect 4 hour opportune to experience it. Calin is worth to be booked, we might do it again being around here . Very strong recommendation from us as it was more than expected.
