Wahiba Sands, also known as Al Sharqiya Sands, is a breathtaking desert spanning 12,500 square kilometers in Oman. Previously referred to as “The Wahiba Sands,” this region is named after the Bani Wahiba tribe and is divided between the northern and southern governorates in the Eastern Region. The area stretches 180 kilometers (110 miles) from north to south and 80 kilometers (50 miles) from east to west. Guests can unwind at the camp or embark on an exciting 4x4 sand dune adventure, culminating in a view of the magnificent desert sunset from one of the towering sand dunes, followed by a buffet dinner at the camp.
