The trail begins at Ksyloskalo on the Omalos plateau (1,227 meters above sea level) and follows the riverbed, concluding at Agia Roumeli. This well-marked, 5-6 hour hike is Greece’s most popular trail, accessible from April to October. While not overly challenging, some parts require careful attention. An experienced guide ensures safety throughout the journey.
