Outstanding - Outdid our expectations - We have just completed a wonderful four days doing the amazing trek, ably guided by Aiben. The coordination by AB expeditions was fantastic- outdone only by the incredible assistance, service and food (thanks to William!) on the trail.

Bucket list - I had a dream time on the Inka Trail with Ab expeditions. The walk wasn’t too challenging and absolutely stunning. Our guide Aiben was fantastic and William our chef produced some incredible food.

100% recommended! - Wonderful experience! Obviously the journey and scenes here are incredible so I’ll focus on the people. The tour guide Rosel and assistant guide Elias were incredibly attentive, patient and knowledgeable. Rosel took care to explain in depth the history of the sites we visited but also, very importantly, the less-spoken about truths of colonization and how it still impacts Peru today and throughout history—I urge anyone who does this tour to listen carefully and reflect deeply! Elias consistently put in additional time and effort to make sure everyone was doing well and in good spirits. Next, the porters and chefs were just absolutely incredible, always joking and laughing and going the extra mile to make this the most comfortable backpacking experience I’ve had. From what I saw, they were all treated well. Thanks again guys!

4 days Machu Picchu with Rosel - One of the best treks out there. At times challenging but well worth the views and the experiences. The guide Rosel, the cook Charlie and the superporters are fantastic and deserve all the praises. HAKUUU

Well organised trip, creating life memory - I joint last-minute as a solo traveller, in a mixed team of 7 others. The whole trip was well organised, safe and full of background info by our captain Rosel with so much experience. The food by the 2 chefs was AMAZING and the strobg porters we're taking care of our tents. It might not be the cheapest firm, but if you pay peanuts, you'll get monkeys 😉 This organisation takes care of their workers and that's very important and sustainable. Don't let yourself scare you off because of the difficulty, it's niot a race and anybody can do this in their own time and with help of the team. The views are spectaculair and the memory is for life!

An amazing tour back in history. - We started our tour with Berni our tour guide with a briefing at our hotel, where he gave us all the informations for the next 4 days and prepared us for our adventure. The next days were a wonder of flora and fauna with a rich history behind it. We saw and felt the story behind Machu Picchu and the trail itself. Berni took care of us during the whole trail, together with the porters and cook. Those guys were incredible, they helped us with all our camping gear and cooked the best food we had during our trip in Peru. They were able to make an delicious cake at our camping site without an oven our electicity. If you plan to visit Peru, then you definitely should go on the Inca Trail, without any questions.

Very challenging with spectacular terrain and history. - Rosel our guide is a great storyteller and shared knowledge of the discovery of the Inca ruins and cultural insights of Inca civilization. Our porters were amazing with making the experience very comfortable. My only complaint is that the tour description showed nice toilet situations but in reality the porta-toilet didn’t function making that aspect of trip stressful. Highly recommend this trip—recommend prepare for physical demand of steep staircase
