On this boat tour, you’ll have the chance to explore two breathtaking islands, each with its own unique charm and beauty. The excursion includes visits to Armona Island or Desert Beach (in Summer) and Culatra Island, offering a full immersion into the region’s natural allure.
Your guide will provide insights into the Ria Formosa and its islands throughout the tour and assist with any needs. During the stops, guests are free to explore for the time set by the captain. You won’t experience nausea during the tour, as we sail only within the Ria Formosa.
First Stop: Culatra Island – 1 Hour
The journey continues to Culatra Island, a traditional and authentic place where time seems to stand still. With an hour of free time, you can explore the charming fishing village, where the dirt roads reflect a simple and peaceful lifestyle.

Second Stop: Armona Island or Desert Beach (45 minutes to 1 hour)
During winter, autumn, and spring, we stop at Armona Island, and during the summer season, we visit the deserted beach!

Next, we’ll head to what many consider the best unpopulated beach in the Algarve, at the tip of Culatra Island. This beach, nestled between the deep blue Atlantic and the clear blue waters of the Ria Formosa, is perfect for diving, swimming or photographing! Experience a slice of heaven!
If it’s the off-season, we’ll visit the splendid Ilha da Armona, stopping for about an hour to wander around the island!
