At Unzen Bridge, you can take in the breathtaking views that are unique to Okutama. The crisp mountain air flowing into the valley will quickly refresh you, dispelling any early morning drowsiness and the stale air from the car.

• Nippara Limestone Caves - Your first destination involves some morning exercise. Nippara Cave is a notable limestone cave in the Kanto region. Certain areas are illuminated, creating a magical atmosphere. As you traverse the approximately 1km long cave, you can witness the stalactites formed over thousands of years.

• 奥多摩むかし道 - Next, explore the country road leading to Lake Okutama. Along the way, experience suspension bridges, unique local scenery, and gain insight into rural life in Tokyo. You may also encounter some abandoned ruins, highlighting the potential future depopulation of the beautiful Okutama town.

• Lake Okutama - The tour includes a circuit around the lake. Lake Okutama is a prominent lake in Japan, offering stunning seasonal views.

• Tsukiyomi 1st Parking - After a lakeside drive, visit a mountain top spot for a spectacular view of the lake and mountains. Enjoy a simple picnic with a kamameshi lunch box made from locally grown vegetables, bidding farewell to Okutama town.

• Hinohara-mura - Post-lunch, relax in the car en route to Hinohara Village, conserving energy for afternoon activities. Hinohara Village is the only village in Tokyo not widely known, even among locals. Alongside Okutama Town, it is one of the most nature-rich areas in Tokyo, with its cypress trees becoming a brand.

• Kyu Kobayashike Jutaku - Visit a traditional Japanese house to learn about past lifestyles in harsh environments. Use the mountain climbing monorail to return home, enjoying the view as you ascend a steep 43-degree slope.

• ・There will be frequent instances of climbing stairs and getting in and out of the vehicle. If you are not confident in your physical strength, we kindly recommend refraining from participating.
